Brewing in the Clouds

And as soon as her figure was engulfed by the dense clouds, Ian, Lyra, and Aurora suddenly heard a low, powerful cry that resonated through the air, followed by the flap of wings. 

Although the sound came from afar, it was there, and both Lyra and Aurora clearly heard it.

"What is that?"

Lyra asked, feeling incredulous that such a massive Leviathan had to hide its figure in the clouds in the presence of something else. She thought that with such a huge figure, Lina had no enemy and could roam the sky freely.

But just now—whatever that creature was—just a flap of its wings and a low cry had almost sent a shiver down her spine.

"A predator, although I also don't know which one."

Ian replied, as even he hadn't seen its figure. Rather, it seemed Lina had avoided it before they could encounter it, saving them from danger.
