The clock would soon hit ten, so the assassins chose to close in on the mansion, thinking that with their superior concealing abilities, they could stay hidden from the sensing range of anyone below the Root Great Sage stage.
Saintess Selene was just a Root Sage, so they weren't worried.
But Gaia picked up on them when they entered the range Kent had told her to cover. It was 6 miles from the mansion.
There was no escaping her, even if you were a god.
But now that they were discovered, Kent could only prepare.
"How many are we talking, Gaia?" Kent asked.
[Three Great Sages and 9 Root Sages.]
"I see. This is cool then. Even though I can't handle a Root Great Sage, I have somebody who can do that. The only question here is whether we can kill them all before they escape."
He wasn't worried about whether or not he could face them. He knew he could do that now that his Soul Master class had become a Grandmaster, too.
