From the start of the battle between Kent and the evil bat, his objective wasn't to kill him. Kent was rather after his blood to end the battle entirely and prove to everyone that he was no pushover. 

To achieve this, he needed to unleash a power currently in his possession—a red token. 

This token was the Mirror Enemy reward he had earned from the quest. 

It was no ordinary item; this token had the potential to shake the entire four kingdoms and awaken the hidden dangers currently lurking in the shadows.

Kaizo was in the air, closing in on the bat, while Kent struggled to his feet and retrieved his sword, now coated with a thin layer of the bat's blood. 

He placed the red token on the blood, and it was instantly absorbed into it. 

Kent then cut his palm, allowing his own blood to drip onto the token. The moment the token drank his blood, it flew from his grip and shot toward the sky.
