Birth of a Huntress

Long before the Eternal War of the Void, which decimated many worlds and shattered many stars, there was a city called Drakenshade. 

It was a militarized fortress known for producing elite warriors. This city was the hub of what many called the Warrior Ascension Gate. 

It was given that name simply because all who walked through its gates emerged as warriors capable of facing the greatest obstacles.

It was the city of warriors.

Her name was Vael.

She was the daughter of a dignified knight, Freya, and an accomplished demon hunter, Erik. 

Vael was just like her parents—dedicated and disciplined. Under the guidance of her parents, she trained from a young age. By the time she turned 15, she was crowned one of the best spear maidens in Drakenshade. 

Many praised her; many sought to bring her into their families as a future bride for their heirs.
