Three years have passed ever since I last met Cecilia. After meeting her in the underground kingdom, the Black Dragon awakened. I had been killed by the beast, but a power that I never knew existed in me awakened. In the end, the Black Dragon died. The power between mankind and monsters shifted, then Ragnarok began.
I am still in a hunt for Cecilia and the four keys. My vengeance is still alive. I have been traveling for months now, coming from the Kingdom of Giants where I spoke to King Gia about this war. He won't join sides unless I join one. But, I have no interest in this conflict. My interest is in killing Cecilia and hunting for the keys.
Despite my tired legs and sore body, I push myself forward, following the scent which Cecilia left on earth. No matter where she goes, her scent still lingers. I will always follow her and strike her whenever she is not ready. There is no rush in this journey. I'm taking my time, enjoying smelling every bit of her scent before I kill her. Alexis was easy to deal with. But Cecilia is more difficult as she has similar combat experience as my mother. Even though she has a petite look and frail arms, she has similar power and strength like my mother.
Cecilia used to be called the "Queen Of Strength". There are countless stories of Cecilia back when Borne was still alive. One of the famous story that stood out Cecilia was the battle against the previous King of Giants, King Gia's father. After a seven days battle, Cecilia stood tall. To make it more interesting, she fought with her bare hands only and no magic.
I used to admire her... I admit, I still do because of the stories, but I don't care about her anymore. After she killed my mother, all I care is to kill her as well and take her head. The skull of Alexis is still dangling on my hips. There are no rotten flesh visible on the skull anymore. I washed it after all because I was getting uncomfortable with the smell and worms. Hey! Even though I'm a murderer, I still have a heart of a woman. I'm still a woman! But different than others.
Even in this long journey, I still fantasize a peaceful life. Right now, my mother would've been 43 years old. Right now, I would've been a queen as well while my mother is in my side, helping me to rule the kingdom of Borne. The kingdom of Borne will always have a special place in my heart. Everyone was kind and loving no matter what status you are at. Even though I'm a princess, they would treat me like just an ordinary girl. That's what I like... Being treated normally. Tears slowly pour out from my eyes, but they quickly fade as I shake those sad thoughts away.
I focus in the scent instead, following it for days, weeks, until a month passes by. I stumble upon a village. The village is being raided by thieves. Now that this Ragnarok is ongoing, thieves are becoming active now a days. Though, I don't care as long as they don't mess with me first.
But I might have jinxed myself as I see thieves approaching me, weapons on hand.
"You there!" A thief says to me. "Give us what you have and we will spare your life.
I sighed. "I have no intention of entertaining you fools. Get out of my way."
But the thieves, hearing what I just said, prepared to charge. "You did this to yourself, girl. Everyone, charge!" So they all charged at me. Before their blades could reach me, the ground quickly covered in shadows. Hands appeared below the thieves, grabbing hold of their feet and arms to keep them in place. "What is this?" They ask.
"I told you... To get out of my way." My eyes flared in golden flame. The air surrounding the whole village became cold and heavy, harming the thieves and citizens. My power knows no limits. Whether an ally or not, it will kill everything that is in its way. Dark cloud appeared above the village. Thunderous sounds of lightning echoed across the town. Everyone hurried to escape, but it was already too late. My cold heart showed no mercy to anyone. A huge shadow hand appeared from the clouds, falling down on the village and to its people. The palm strikes hard, crushing everything below it. The shadow hand disappeared, leaving a huge smoke of dust in the area.
I didn't need to wait to see the result.
Behind me, a huge crater appeared. What used to be a village once, is now just a crater with nothing left behind. I resumed my journey afterwards, caring nothing.
