None of Them Are Good People

At the dinner, no one knew who spoke up first: "Old Sun has something good, but it's only for Mr. Huo. That's not fair, I want to join in on the fun too."

The others followed suit.

"I want to go too."

"I want to see as well."

A bold group of people rushed after, though they dared not follow too closely.

Su Heng frowned when he saw this, stood up, and blended into the crowd. He also wanted to know what secret transaction was taking place between the Sun family and the Huo family.

Led by Huo Xingzhou, the group ascended to the second floor.

Then, a woman's scream echoed through the air!

It came from the end of the corridor.

The Sun family members' faces turned pale.

Huo Xingzhou quickened his pace, walking with urgency.

With each step, the scream grew more piercing.

"This... This is Mo Jiajun's lounge." Sun Wei, upon seeing the nameplate on the door, felt a sudden sense of dread. Qiao Xi had been missing for a while now.

Mo Jiajun was a reckless man who didn't care about the identity of the women he bedded, as long as they pleased him.

"It seems Mrs. Huo left a while ago."

A small discussion arose from the crowd.

"She must have gone to change clothes."

"Does it really take that long to change clothes?"

Huo Xingzhou was the center of attention, and so was Qiao Xi by his side. Many people knew Qiao Xi had left, so they didn't pay much attention to the other wealthy daughters.

"Who's in there… Mo Jiajun really is bold!"

The assumption was that the person inside was likely Qiao Xi.

"Tsk."

Su Heng couldn't hold back a mocking laugh.

"Country bumpkin, no manners," he muttered, "She's the only one who ruined her dress. No one else did."

He said this with lingering resentment, finally finding an opportunity to vent his frustration.

Some people echoed his words, while others pretended not to hear.

Sun's wife, worried that Huo Xingzhou might get too agitated, said, "I... I'll go check inside."

If Qiao Xi was really in danger, at least the disgrace wouldn't be exposed to everyone.

"No need!"

Huo Xingzhou, suppressing his anger, kicked open the door.

The door shook a few times before swinging open.

A woman with a disheveled dress and unkempt hair rushed out, almost collapsing into his arms. Huo Xingzhou quickly stepped aside, as if avoiding a contaminant.

The woman fell to the ground, revealing a delicate face beneath her messy hair.

"Su... Su Weiwei!"

"Her?!"

"She and Mo Jiajun actually..."

Su Heng's face stiffened. He couldn't believe his eyes as he pushed through the crowd and reached the front. It was indeed Su Weiwei.

"You... Shameless!"

Su Heng grabbed her by the arm and slapped her across the face.

"Dad! I... I was forced..." Su Weiwei cried bitterly, especially terrified by the crowd of onlookers.

She knew her reputation was ruined beyond repair.

"Weiwei, my dear."

Mo Jiajun, having dressed, leisurely stepped out of the room.

"Love between a man and a woman, you should be careful with your words," Mo Jiajun reminded with a smirk.

He was a cancerous tumor, taking advantage of many wealthy young women and leaving them unable to speak up.

Hearing his words, Su Weiwei cried even harder.

She feared the truth would come out—everyone would know she had brought the drugs, and Huo Xingzhou would kill her! Furthermore, she didn't even know what Mo Jiajun had done, and where the other packet of drugs had gone!

She stole a glance at Huo Xingzhou but saw nothing unusual in his expression.

"I..."

"Weiwei! Tell the truth, did he force you?" Su Heng tried to salvage what little dignity he had left.

From the crowd, Mo Jiajun's mother spoke up, displeased. "Your daughter and my son did such a thing, and you're blaming my son for forcing her?"

"Weiwei!"

Su Heng coldly warned.

Su Weiwei kept retreating behind him, crying and shaking her head. "No! He didn't force me!"

She had suffered greatly but had to swallow her grievances!

"You... You really disappoint me! How could young people be so out of control!" Su Heng, veins bulging on his forehead, lashed out with a businessman's instincts, proposing the best solution he could think of.

"Since... it's mutual affection, our two families can sit down and discuss marriage!"

The Mo family wasn't inferior to the Su family in wealth!

It was just that Mo Jiajun's reputation was a mess!

In front of everyone, Su Heng could only resort to this measure—otherwise, his daughter would never be able to marry again!

Mo Jiajun's mother was ecstatic. She had gained a daughter-in-law without any effort, and it was the Su family's young lady!

But Mo Jiajun wasn't happy.

He shook his head and said, "Uncle Su, love between a man and a woman is all about mutual consent. She and I were only a fleeting affair. I don't want to marry her."

He wasn't satisfied and added, "She has a nice figure, I'd give her a nine out of ten. But her makeup is too thick. Without makeup, she'd only get a six."

He criticized Su Weiwei's looks, belittling her, as if he had no respect for her.

Finally, Mo Jiajun summed up, "I slept with her just to see what it's like to have a woman from Huo Beiting's family. Now that I've tried, it's nothing special."

Mo Jiajun and Huo Beiting had a past. Both had been interested in Fang Annie, but she was too clever for Mo Jiajun to outsmart, leaving him resentful.

When it came to looks and figure, Fang Annie was far superior to Su Weiwei.

"You... You..."

Su Heng trembled with rage.

Su Weiwei covered her face, shamefully running off, crying uncontrollably.

"Uncle Su, don't blame me for being irresponsible. If she can do something like getting pregnant before marriage, she's no good," Mo Jiajun said seriously.

What a scoundrel!

Su Heng stormed off in anger!

The farce ended there.

Mo Jiajun, smacking his lips, thought that Su Weiwei wasn't so bad. He had taken so many photos as leverage and figured she could be kept as a backup whenever needed.

The Sun family members looked at the Mo family's faces, clearly not happy.

"Mrs. Mo, your family's mess has ruined our Old Sun's banquet. Please leave now, and we will return your gift money," Sun's wife said coldly.

"This..."

Mrs. Mo was furious, but didn't dare offend the Sun family.

She could only grab Mo Jiajun by the ear and scold him as they walked off, "Why can't you control yourself? When she came onto you, why didn't you back off?"

"Mom! She insisted on sleeping with me. What could I do?"

His words were crude and absurd.

The others shook their heads. Mo Jiajun really had no bottom line.

"Huo... Second Master Huo, what a false alarm!"

Sun Weiwei's father, Sun Weimeng, finally dared to speak.

He had never seen Huo Xingzhou so enraged. He had also been worried it might be Qiao Xi inside.

Huo Xingzhou turned to look at the other end of the corridor. There, a girl in a pink cheongsam caught his eye, and his expression darkened. In truth, when he heard the scream earlier, he already knew it wasn't Qiao Xi inside.

He was so familiar with her voice, but he had let his concern cloud his judgment.

However, he feared the strange noise inside might have been the cause of Qiao Xi's disappearance.

So, he let the situation unfold.

"Huo, Mr. Huo..."

Qiao Xi walked slowly toward him, calling his name in a soft voice.

She had been outside the crowd, watching the commotion. Su Weiwei had run down the stairs right in front of her. She couldn't understand why, in such a large setting, Su Weiwei would do such a thing with a man.

But the Su family's problems had nothing to do with her.

Huo Xingzhou grabbed her wrist. His body felt unusually hot, his temperature off.

Qiao Xi looked up at him in surprise.

"Qiao Xi, let's go back," he said hoarsely, his breath even seeming to burn.
