The Snake Woman's expression turned completely grim, her snake-like pupils narrowing dangerously as her lips twisted into a sinister smile.

The moment she finished speaking, the serpent-eye patterns across the entire street lit up with red light, covering everything in sight. The sunlight above was consumed, leaving behind only an eerie crimson glow.

A strange black aura began to spread from Li QiYe's position, like ink dripping from a bottle, seeping into the blood-red world around them.

The Snake Woman's eyes gleamed with a dark, malicious light, and the black hair cascading from her shoulders seemed to come alive, growing thicker and longer, writhing like black serpents in the crimson glow.

Li QiYe's eyes darkened as he attempted to use the Dark Abyss's corruption on her blade, but it didn't work. The weapon seemed impervious to his power, like a dark insulator that his corruption couldn't penetrate.

"Snake Fang?" Li QiYe's mental energy swept over the blade, and his suspicions were confirmed. It was a Forbidden Object, one only wielded by the Medusa Agent!

As their blades clashed, their bodies came within a hair's breadth of one another. At that moment, the Snake Woman twisted her neck at an unnatural angle, bringing her head to face Li QiYe.
