Due to her father's adultery, Mae was born an illegitimate princess; if you could even call her a princess, the way she was raised was far from royalty. Growing up with her "perfect" sister Isadora was a nightmare that seemed to never stop, up until the day of her sister's wedding, when the soon-to-be bride abruptly vanished, forcing Mae to take her place.
