Facing the intense attack Dean was running inside with his movement technique, but the fireball attack was shrinking in size and the pressure inside was getting more serious that it was before.

The more it reduces in size, the more it was dreadful for Dean that was inside the fireball.

"Little fellow, your arrogant attitude brought this destruction to you". The leader of the fire falcon said feeling every pleased with how things were going.

From it statement one could tell that it felt Dean was too arrogant and overconfident that he will be able to kill that that led to what was happening which will lead to Dean dying.

If Dean and the ladies did their bear to break out of the encirclement, they would have succeeded in doing that, and they would have been able to run away.

But they did not do that but killed its subject recklessly not showing any form of mercy and Dean on the other hand because of courageous he was it turned to arrogance.
