Unfinished Stories

Delphinia sat on the plush couch, flipping lazily through a glossy magazine. She wasn't particularly reading the articles—her thoughts were elsewhere—flipping through the pages was enough to hold her attention.

The living room was calm and tidy, with the faint scent of jasmine from a nearby candle filling the air. Yet, her fingers occasionally tapped against the magazine cover, betraying her slight impatience.
