Elaine and Victor were seated across from them in the car, with Victor busy on his phone, likely handling business matters. As soon as they stepped foot inside the mansion, Delphinia turned to Evander, her arms crossed. "Go rest," she instructed, her tone firm.

"Humor me," Delphinia huffed, placing a hand on his chest and pushing him lightly towards the stairs. "You threw punches with Kai Robinson today. I don't care if you think you're indestructible, just lay down for a bit."
