Lena's Kidnap

Lena threw her full weight into him, knocking him sideways. He stumbled, cursing as he caught himself against the table.

Move. Move. MOVE.

She scrambled to her feet, her hands fumbling at the ropes still loosely wrapped around her wrists.

Reed recovered too fast.

He grabbed her wrist, yanking her back against him.

"Enough," he growled.

But before he could pull his gun,

The door burst open.

The room exploded into chaos.

A masked figure stormed inside, moving with lethal precision. A blur of black, the glint of a knife

Reed shoved Lena aside just as the intruder lunged.

She hit the ground hard, barely rolling in time to avoid being trampled.

Gunfire erupted.

Reed fired twice, but the attacker was too fast. They ducked, closing the distance in a blink. A sharp cry of pain, Reed stumbled back, clutching his arm, blood seeping through his fingers.
