CHAPTER 4: Cold and Forgiving Boss Hoang

For several days in a row, because of worrying about Tran Hoai An, Trinh Anh Tu lost his appetite and sleep, unable to concentrate on work. Seeing Hoai An as his real brother, how could he relax and feel at ease if he disappeared like this?

Every day, waiting for his phone to vibrate with a message from him, or a distress call, made him like a giant panda who had lost his soul.

Today was a bad day, the customer asked him to do this but he did another. The customer was angry and scolded him. Trinh Anh Tu still couldn't concentrate, business kept slipping. Luckily, the boss spoke up for him, speaking tactfully, otherwise he would have lost customers and had to pay compensation.

The boss didn't scold or blame him, seeing him dazed with dark circles under his eyes full of fatigue, he kindly let him in to rest: "Take a nap first and then come back to work."

"Yes."

Last night, Anh Tu couldn't sleep soundly, his spirit was dragged down. Maybe he should take a nap and then continue working, if there is anything, he can stay and work overtime in the afternoon.

Lying down on the folding chair, the gentle wind blowing in from outside the window made him a little sleepy. Unlike at home, the workplace was not very quiet, but it made both eyes droop quickly. Covering his face with a baseball cap, he fell asleep.

Just as he was about to fall asleep, someone suddenly burst in, angrily walked over and kicked the folding chair Anh Tu was lying on and scolded: "Trinh Anh Tu! Who let you sleep during working hours?!".

Anh Tu pulled off his hat, did not stand up but glared at the difficult colleague: "The boss allowed it".

This guy was an employee who had been with the boss for quite a long time, a senior but always jealous of the juniors below. Especially Trinh Anh Tu had been extremely annoyed for a long time, a new soldier who had come out of nowhere and did not know the immensity of heaven and earth and was favored by the boss.

He was unwilling to accept it and grabbed Anh Tu by the collar: "You're the boss, use the boss as a shield. Fool anyone but not me! Get out and get to work now!".

Trinh Anh Tu coldly said: "Who are you that I have to listen to you?".

Being blocked, he turned purple with anger. Having endured the anger that had built up because of Trinh Anh Tu for too long, he was about to swing his hand to detonate the grenade in his stomach when suddenly someone came in to stop him.

"Kha, there's a customer looking for you!".

That employee came at the right time, Kha clicked his tongue and scolded him a few times before letting go of Anh Tu: "I'll settle the score with you after I'm done."

He suppressed his anger and left to continue making money, the other employee didn't want to get into trouble so he didn't talk to Anh Tu, he followed behind Kha like a lowly tail.

Being sleepy and meeting a few arrogant people woke Trinh Anh Tu up and exchanged words. Frustrated, I lay down on the folding chair, put my arms on my forehead, thought, then sighed. I didn't have any energy to do any work at all.

..

At night, Trinh Anh Tu went out drinking alone to clear his head. His confidant's disappearance made him feel confused, and there was no contact from Tran Hoai An, which made him depressed. He drank some wine to relieve his stress.

He asked for a few days off to look for Hoai An. Although he didn't know where he was hiding, he knew that he would come to Dao Anh Tuyet. She was the one who tricked him into death. With her stubborn personality, Tran Hoai An would drag her to death with him.

He hoped that he wouldn't do anything that would make him regret. According to Anh Tu, Dao Anh Tuyet was no pushover. The first time they met, from her revealing dress style to her arrogant way of speaking, he knew that this woman was a gold digger. She saw men as tools to produce cash, and she stole all their assets.

He had advised Tran Hoai An not to hang out with her anymore, no matter how much he explained, he was still stubborn as a rock and wouldn't listen. Because he was so infatuated with her beauty that he didn't care if he was drained of blood.

What kind of idiot was he?

Trinh Anh Tu sighed and looked at the business card in his hand. It was the business card of the loan company that Hoai An left in the bedroom. The address of this place wasn't far away, somewhere in Binh Duong. He searched online and found that the introduction and history were all very clean, without any dirty business involved.

The more there was no problem, the more uneasy Anh Tu was. These were professional debt collectors with experts in cleaning up the scene after paying off debtors who broke their promises or were on the run.

With a pale face and no bright colors, Trinh Anh Tu drank half a bottle of wine in one gulp. He was wondering if Tran Hoai An had been caught by them and killed on the spot?

Oh my, that's too much. No way, no way. He quickly dispelled those scary and unlucky thoughts.

After a while, several bottles of wine were rolling all over the table and under his feet. Trinh Anh Tu was so drunk that his face was as red as a roasted pig's head. His eyes became blurry, the colored lights spread out into rows of colors following each other, creating a beautiful and magical scene. It made his mind even more dizzy.

Anh Tu paid the bill and staggered away. Not knowing if he was going home or somewhere else, he walked aimlessly. The way home became more and more vague, wanting to collapse on the spot and fall asleep.

While walking, his face suddenly hit something soft and elastic, and his whole body fell backwards.

"Fuck, are you blind?!". A big, fat man with two arms covered in black tattoos and a pig-like temper angrily grabbed Trinh Anh Tu's collar.

He naturally didn't hear what the man was saying and was bewildered: "Huh? Who is it?".

"Big brother! It's this guy! He's An's roommate, the same guy who beat me up that day!".

Hao saw that it was Trinh Anh Tu, he immediately told the big brother. The fat guy who was supposed to be the big brother raised his eyebrows and curled his lips. He patted Anh Tu's cheek: "Oh, hey! Where did your friend go? Do you know that he stole a huge amount of money from us and left without paying it back?".

His ears were ringing but he could still clearly hear Tran Hoai An's name, Trinh Anh Tu gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. His eyes were bloodshot and he glared at the big brother.

"Hey, who are you looking at with that eye...". Not giving him time to reason or teach him a lesson, he punched him hard in the face.

"Fuck!".

Anh Tu escaped from the guy's grasp, the alcohol had seeped into his body, his strength was also weakened. He had just jumped out and hadn't had time to stand firm before collapsing to the ground. The boss took the opportunity to deal with him, punching and kicking him. Trinh Anh Tu lost his defense and rolled on the ground, surrounded by thugs.

Each wave of pain penetrated his skin and flesh, he was alone with a large group of people and could not fight back. Anh Tu seemed to have turned into a disoriented bear being beaten to death.

Raindrops began to fall, dripping onto his blood-stained face, leaving a pale pink color on the road. Trinh Anh Tu lay unconscious with his arms spread out, and the thugs stopped.

After taking revenge, Hao was extremely happy, he happily kicked him again as a memorable gift: "This is to pay for the day you hit me, and this kick is to remind you that you are the broken punching bag that An left behind. From now on, wherever we meet you, we will take it out on you, unless An's debt is cleared, then we will let you go. Am I right, boss?".

The fat boss was held by his subordinates to shield him from the rain, he took a puff of his cigarette to cool down: "You said too much, it should be 'greeting' him every day".

Hao and the remaining juniors chuckled and nodded: "Big brother is right, it should be every day".

"Let's go, boss Hoang is waiting for us".

The thugs left, the passersby who saw someone being brutally beaten did not dare to report to the police because they were afraid that the crime of being nosy would cause trouble for themselves. Some people secretly filmed the beating scene and took pictures to post online to get likes and comments, they had no intention of helping Trinh Anh Tu.

In the luxurious black car, a man sitting in the back seat observed the entire scene of the thugs' brutal attack on the young man. Not knowing what he was thinking, his deep black eyes were a bottomless abyss, without any light, staring at Trinh Anh Tu who was dying and collapsing in the rain.

"Boss Hoang, according to our people's report, tonight there was an assassin from Kieu Chi Chau's side sneaking into your bedroom with the intention of assassinating you. Our people have captured him, how do you want to handle this?". The CEO's secretary and right-hand man, Phan Kiet folded his umbrella and sat in the driver's seat to report the situation he had just heard from his junior.

His icy face suddenly curled up, Hoang Minh Quan smiled faintly: "I don't know if this is called luck or if her tricks are too old. If I stayed home tonight, I wonder what would happen to me? Do you think I would die at his hands, or he would become a pile of minced meat?".

Phan Kiet secretly glanced at Hoang Minh Quan through the rearview mirror, the cold man did not reveal any weakness, a cold color like ice. Phan Kiet broke out in a cold sweat, not knowing how Boss Hoang would handle this matter.

Each time he was assassinated, he had a different way of handling it, making it difficult to predict what Mr. Hoang would do next.

Hoang Minh Quan suddenly said: "Let him go."

Phan Kiet exclaimed in surprise: "You're not going to deal with him?".

The silence of the Chairman meant that he shouldn't ask a second time, Phan Kiet shut his mouth and nodded. He immediately called someone to release the assassin he had just captured as ordered by the Boss.

"Take him to the hospital." Hoang Minh Quan raised his chin towards Trinh Anh Tu lying unconscious on the sidewalk.

Why was the President so forgiving and generous today? He had spared the assassin who was about to assassinate him, and then he wanted to save someone.

Phan Kiet thought he had gotten into the wrong president's car, this wasn't the heartless, cold-hearted Boss Hoang. He was the only kind-hearted Boss Hoang. He didn't ask again about his suspicions but got out of the car and went to help Trinh Anh Tu call an ambulance.

Hoang Minh Quan watched the ambulance take Trinh Anh Tu away, he looked at the pool of blood that had been washed down onto his car's wheels. The bloody beating scene just now, in Minh Quan's eyes, was nothing terrible, nor was it special enough to be filmed and photographed by passersby.

Because in this life, things like death knocking on his door had been experienced every day. Death was always waiting for him to lose his guard so he could take his soul away.

After his mother's death, it seemed like the path to the King of Hell was always open to welcome him. Losing his place to rely on, he fell into the pit full of thorns and traps set by his stepmother.

After his mother died, Kieu Chi Chau immediately stepped into the Hoang family. Behind the virtuous person, good wife, and good mother was a witch who was plotting to seize the royal family's assets.

Currently, the head of the Hoang family group was Kieu Chi Chau, after her father died, she succeeded to the throne, all the assets in the royal family were held by her. But...

All the huge assets and the throne she was ruling were all his mother's, these things belonged to him.

The Hoang Group was originally just a small group, the eldest son Hoang Huy married the young lady of the Hua family. With the great help of his wife's family, Hoang Group went from being a subsidiary company to becoming a large group in Asia after ten years.

Hoang Huy is Hoang Minh Quan's biological father, he passed away when he was in high school. Hua Han is his mother, of Chinese descent, she passed away when he was in seventh grade. The deaths of both people had one thing in common, a traffic accident, the car lost its brakes, suddenly flipped over and exploded.

This was strange, the crime scene investigation of both cars was clearly normal, so why did they flip over and explode while they were running on the road?

I don't know why, after the police decided to investigate, the case suddenly stopped. From then on, it was no longer mentioned, becoming a normal traffic accident.

Hoang Minh Quan knew that it was all Kieu Chi Chau's plot, all this time he had been secretly investigating the unusual death of his parents. Looking for evidence and her motive for the crime. He knew that without evidence, how could he throw Kieu Chi Chau in jail.

Not stopping after Hoang Huy and Hua Han left, Kieu Chi Chau viciously ordered someone to assassinate Hoang Minh Quan. The number of times he had almost died at her hands from the past until now was more than a hundred times.

A cold and heartless person was also formed, Minh Quan could not trust anyone but himself. There were always seemingly trivial dangers lurking around.

He had to fight the witch Kieu Chi Chau, take back everything that belonged to him and avenge his parents.
