"Boom—!!!"
The domineering sword slashed beside Zato's body, the sheer force of the impact sending him tumbling sideways several times. Next to where he had been standing, a massive crack split the ground, as if the earth itself had been cleaved in two.
Wendy, Carla, and Zato stared in stunned silence at the devastation.
"That… that was terrifying!" Wendy whispered, her voice trembling.
Though she had heard tales of Su Tan's strength, witnessing such a display firsthand left her awestruck and frightened.
"Tell me! Where is your base?" Su Tan demanded, his voice calm but laced with authority.
"In… in the abandoned village to the west," Zato stammered, his defiance shattered.
With the location secured, Su Tan led Wendy and Carla toward the enemy's base. Along the way, they encountered numerous dark guild members who attempted to ambush them. Each time, Su Tan dispatched them with ease, leaving Wendy and Carla in awe of his overwhelming power.
"Those are dark guild members… and he's taking them down like they're nothing," Carla murmured, her voice tinged with disbelief.
Suddenly, Su Tan halted, his expression sharpening. "Wait. Someone's here."
"Ah! Ah! Ah!"
A blur of motion darted through the trees, moving at incredible speed. The figure came to a stop on a tree trunk not far from Su Tan, revealing himself to be Racer, the speedster of Oracion Seis.
"It's him!" Wendy gasped.
"That fast one from Oracion Seis!" Carla added, her voice tense.
Racer smirked, his confidence evident. "My name is Racer. Faster than anyone, faster than anything. Speed is my domain."
Su Tan raised an eyebrow. "Oh, it's you. The one with weak attacks."
Racer's smirk vanished, replaced by a scowl. "That was just a warm-up before. Now, I'll show you the true terror of ultimate speed!"
In an instant, Racer charged at Su Tan, his movements a blur. He struck Su Tan's chest with a powerful punch, sending him skidding backward. Without pause, Racer zipped behind Su Tan and delivered a kick to his back, propelling him forward. Racer continued his assault, landing hit after hit with blinding speed.
"Brother Su Tan!" Wendy cried out, her voice filled with worry.
Racer sneered. "Hey! Where's all that bravado now? Still think my attacks are weak? Huh?!"
"Still weak," Su Tan's voice cut through the air, calm and unshaken.
Racer froze, his eyes widening as he realized Su Tan was completely unharmed. His fists ached from the repeated strikes, yet Su Tan stood tall, unscathed.
"Is that all you've got? No matter how fast you are, it's pointless if you can't break my defense," Su Tan said, his tone almost bored.
"You bastard! Don't underestimate me!" Racer snarled, pulling out a small dagger. "You think my attacks are weak? At this speed, even a tiny blade can kill!"
He lunged at Su Tan again, the dagger aimed straight for his throat.
"Don't—!!" Wendy screamed, unable to watch.
The dagger struck Su Tan's throat—but instead of piercing flesh, the blade shattered on impact.
"What?!" Racer gasped, stumbling back in disbelief. "Impossible! Why didn't you die? Why did my dagger break? What kind of monster are you?!"
Su Tan smirked. "I didn't do anything. Your dagger broke because my skin's defense is stronger than its attack."
Wendy, Carla, and Racer stared at Su Tan in shock. A human whose body could withstand a blade? Was he even human?
"Crack!" Su Tan grabbed Racer's wrist, the one holding the broken dagger.
"Got you," Su Tan said, his grin turning predatory.
"Damn it!" Racer panicked, throwing a flurry of punches at Su Tan's face. But no matter how many hits he landed, Su Tan remained unmoved, as solid as a mountain.
"No, no, no! This can't be real! You're not human! You're a monster!" Racer screamed, his voice filled with terror.
"Done already?" Su Tan asked, his voice cold. "Let me show you what real punches are. Every strike should carry the intent to kill. Like this."
Su Tan clenched his right fist, his arm hardening with Haki. A faint red glow surrounded his hand, and purple lightning crackled around his knuckles.
"Dark Impact," Su Tan muttered.
He stepped forward, the ground beneath him cracking under the pressure. With a single, devastating punch, he struck Racer's face.
"No—!!" Racer's scream was cut short as the force of the blow sent him flying like a cannonball.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Racer's body crashed through tree after tree before finally slamming into a mountain wall. The impact created a massive crater, and Racer slumped to the ground, unmoving.

Meanwhile, far from the battlefield, Brain clutched his head, his expression twisted in agony.
"Racer… he's dead. One of the pillars of Oracion Seis has fallen. Those damn regular guilds!" he growled.
Brain had chosen to retreat earlier to avoid direct confrontation, hoping to prevent such a disaster. But now, with one of their strongest defeated, he knew they had to find "Nirvana" as soon as possible. The balance had shifted, and time was running out.
