Chapter 120: I Will Take Good Care of Xiao Wu for You!

Before him lay a peculiar lake, split into two distinct colors: milky white on one side and red on the other. The waters remained separate, never mixing, earning the name Yin-Yang Eye. Along the lake's edge, various exotic flowers and grasses grew, each massive when viewed from above.

As the pink light shield appeared, countless identical lake flowers formed behind the large pink flower, numbering in the hundreds and densely scattered behind the original.

"This flower can control that strange lake water," Xiao Yan thought, momentarily stunned by the spectacle before him.

Just then, a gentle female voice rang out clearly:

"Human, your presence here is a stroke of luck. But if you dare act disrespectfully, don't blame me for being unkind."

Hearing this, Xiao Yan's expression changed, and he exclaimed, "What the—this flower can talk!"

Xiao Yan had encountered talking soul beasts before, but a talking plant was a first for him.

"Oh? This flower must have absorbed the essence of heaven and earth to gain sentience," Yao Lao's voice echoed in Xiao Yan's mind, speaking gravely. "On the Dou Qi Continent, pills above the sixth rank can possess some level of sentience. Some high-grade pills can even speak like this flower."

"A talking pill?" Xiao Yan thought, imagining a pill that could converse, causing a few beads of sweat to form on his forehead.

"Haha, eighth-rank pills can even battle humans, and ninth-rank pills are said to transform into human form. So a talking flower isn't all that unusual," Yao Lao chuckled.

"If eighth and ninth-rank pills are that powerful, what about tenth-rank?" Xiao Yan wondered aloud, smiling wryly.

"The pinnacle isn't called tenth rank but rather a unique Emperor rank. Such pills have not been crafted for millennia, primarily due to the lack of prescriptions. These pills differ fundamentally from those we use; they are crafted from heaven and earth, mountains and seas," Yao Lao's words left Xiao Yan deeply shaken.

"The second reason is that no one possesses the skill to craft them," Yao Lao added, smiling. "This pink flower seems to be a plant-type soul beast, an antidote to all poisons. It neutralizes toxins but doesn't cure them."

"A hundred-thousand-year-old plant-type soul beast?" Xiao Yan mused. He had seen three-headed Scarlet Demon Mastiffs speak, and this pink flower could too, indicating it might be a hundred-thousand-year-old plant-type soul beast.

The pink flower's petals opened slightly, emitting a gentle voice, "I'm not some hundred-thousand-year-old soul beast."

"Ah... you possess an aura similar to this Yin-Yang Eye. No wonder you bypassed the Jade Phosphorescent Poison Array to reach here," the pink flower murmured, its tone revealing a hint of excitement.

Xiao Yan, quick-witted as ever, immediately understood that the pink flower referred to the Yin-Yang Eye as the peculiar lake before him. He turned to Yao Lao, "Teacher, what does she mean by similar aura? How do I possess an aura like this lake?"

Yao Lao's powerful soul force probed the Yin-Yang Eye, pondering briefly before speaking to Xiao Yan again: "These lakes, one yin and one yang, resemble the Bone Spirit Cold Fire. When you entered, you used the Bone Spirit Cold Fire, and she must have sensed the aura of a Heavenly Flame, which is why she thinks you have something in common with this lake."

"However... I have a feeling something is buried beneath these waters, with energy growing stronger the deeper it goes."

"Something beneath the lake?" Xiao Yan asked in surprise.

"Yes, but I can't be certain," Yao Lao replied calmly.

Xiao Yan approached the Yin-Yang Eye, standing at the lake's edge. He glanced at the distinct waters and licked his lips.

"Be careful. The lake is poisonous, and the temperature varies greatly the deeper you go. Even a Dou Wang wouldn't dare dive easily," Yao Lao warned in Xiao Yan's mind.

"What should I do, Teacher?" Xiao Yan asked after a long breath.

Yao Lao pondered for a moment before saying, "I'll envelop you with soul energy. Dive in and see. The rich spiritual energy here might yield unexpected results."

"Let's do it, Teacher. Time is precious," Xiao Yan said eagerly, rubbing his hands together.

Yao Lao hummed in agreement, and a white light gradually surrounded Xiao Yan, enveloping him completely.

Standing at the lake's edge, Xiao Yan looked at the red and white waters, gritted his teeth, and closed his eyes before diving in with a splash.

Watching the scene unfold, the pink flower shouted, "What are you doing? You can't go down there!"

Immediately, powerful auras pressed on Xiao Yan as all the exotic flowers and grasses seemed to come alive, frantically converging on his location, as if to stop him.

"What is this? Are they trying to eat me?" Floating in the lake, Xiao Yan exclaimed, astonished by the seemingly enraged flowers and grasses, before diving toward the lakebed.

Diving into the magma, intense heat and pressure surged from all directions, threatening to crush Xiao Yan. However, the influx of Yao Lao's soul energy alleviated much of the pressure.

Pausing briefly, Xiao Yan cautiously surveyed his surroundings. Finding no immediate danger, he sighed in relief and released a wisp of white flame from his fingertip.

The Bone Spirit Cold Fire illuminated the surroundings, revealing their brightness.

"Little one, hurry. I can protect you for now, but it consumes a lot of soul energy. If I lose my soul energy, even with the Bone Spirit Cold Fire, you won't withstand the pressure and will be crushed. Don't waste time. Find what's buried below and leave the lake, or you'll never escape," Yao Lao's voice resonated in Xiao Yan's mind.

"Understood." Xiao Yan nodded, his face tense, and swiftly continued his descent.

As Xiao Yan navigated the Yin-Yang Eye's waters, the deeper he went, the quieter it became. The red and white dominated his view, a monotonous sight that could easily disorient him and lead to doom.

"Sigh..."

A soft sigh rose from Xiao Yan's heart. The unknown is often the most terrifying. Even with Yao Lao's presence, the seemingly endless lakebed left him uneasy.

"There's nothing down here. It's endless," he thought as the pressure increased with every descent.

"I'll search for ten more minutes. If nothing appears, I'll retreat," he resolved, shivering slightly, his voice trembling.

Then, a miraculous sight emerged. The surrounding waters began to ripple, and a faintly glowing vortex appeared nearby, hinting at something hidden within.

Startled by the sudden change, Xiao Yan unleashed his full soul power, swimming to the vortex to scrutinize it.

After examining it, he was left speechless, eyes wide with shock and disbelief.

Inside the vortex were no ordinary objects but two dragon-shaped energy constructs. Each was less than a meter long, with crystal-clear scales, transparent horns, and flowing whiskers.

The dragons' detailed features were unmistakable, with every detail intact.

The energy dragons swam like fish in the dark vortex, leaving trails of faint red and blue light in their wake.

Without hesitation, Xiao Yan plunged into the vortex, the white flame in his hand illuminating parts of the scene.

Inside, he found vast stretches of jagged rocks resembling mountain ranges. Upon closer inspection, he realized these weren't mountains but the vertebrae of a colossal creature, adorned with serrated bone spurs.

Flicking his finger, he released another wisp of white flame.

The flame's appearance brightened the surroundings, allowing Xiao Yan to see the overlapping scales on the creature, hinting at explosive muscle beneath.

As his gaze shifted, Xiao Yan gradually beheld the full extent of the terrifying creature—a pair of colossal dragons, each spanning several hundred meters.

The dragons lay there lifeless, as ancient as stone statues, yet exuding a suffocating aura that tightened Xiao Yan's face with seriousness.

The pressure far exceeded a soul master's limit, surpassing even Titled Douluo like Xuanzi and Mu En by countless folds.

The terrifying power of these long-dead dragons hinted at their overwhelming strength in life.

Xiao Yan didn't yet know these dragon corpses belonged to two of the Dragon God's nine sons, the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King. Their god-level status in the God Realm, combined with their pure dragon heritage, made them extraordinarily powerful.

Naturally, they were incomparable to ordinary Titled Douluo.

"Could these dragon corpses be remnants of ancient divine beasts on Douluo Continent?" Xiao Yan marveled at the immense dragon corpses. Their residual power had nurtured the Yin-Yang Eye, a treasure trove of heavenly materials, far from ordinary.

"Seventh-tier dragon-type magical beasts?" Yao Lao's voice echoed in Xiao Yan's mind, filled with surprise and delight.

"Seventh-tier magical beasts? Dou Zong?" Xiao Yan gasped at Yao Lao's words.

"The bone wings on these dragon corpses seem intact, retaining significant energy. Remember the flying battle technique I mentioned? If you refine their bone wings into wings, you'll have a means of escape even against formidable opponents," Yao Lao said, his voice tinged with satisfaction.

"Teacher, let's take a closer look," Xiao Yan said eagerly, taking deep breaths to calm himself.

"Yes, let's go. I'll strengthen the protection," Yao Lao agreed.

...

Meanwhile, in the Haotian Sect's chamber.

"Da Ming, Er Ming, did you remember everything I've said?"

Niu Tian and Titan exchanged glances and nodded, "God King, we remember clearly. We will carry out your instructions."

"This matter concerns the future of Douluo Continent and the God Realm. Proceed with caution. If not for the restrictions of the God Realm's laws..." Tang San sighed inwardly, thinking:

"Damn rules. I should have left more descendants with Xiao Wu on Douluo Continent before my reproductive abilities weakened after becoming a god. That way, I could have used them to work for me and descended to the mortal realm more often without being constrained by Destruction."

"Fortunately, there's Xiao Qi now. She's exchanged memories with that child of destiny, so it's not too late."

"Too bad there's only one Xiao Qi. Splitting her soul in half was the limit. If I could divide it into ten or a hundred, how great would that be..."

Tang San's lips curled into a cold smile as he spoke.

Niu Tian and Titan assured Tang San of their commitment to his instructions. As Tang San immersed himself in his thoughts, they hesitated briefly before speaking, "God King, my brother and I have been in the mortal realm for some time. How is Sister Xiao Wu?"

Tang San smiled, "Xiao Wu is well, rest assured. I'll take good care of her and

hopefully give you a nephew soon. Having Xiao Qi descend alone, there are many tasks she might not complete. Another child could be sent later..."
