18. New World

The man writhed on the ground in pain, unable to get up.

His weakness was exacerbated by the blood flowing from the wound in his chest. He was lying right in front of Kael, but he could not move.

Kael saw that the man was drawing his last breath, and with absolute determination he picked up the sword that lay in front of him.

As Kael held the sword, he thought of the dangers he might face in an unknown place and realized that he had to be strong.

As he began to search the man, he noticed the glint of something shiny in the inside pocket of his robe. It was an ancient Kyber Crystal. Kael picked it up carefully and felt it overflow with Force.

Presumably, this crystal had been taken from the ancient Jedi Temple he had just arrived at. What caught Kael's attention was that the crystal looked different from normal kyber crystals and radiated more energy.

Looking around, he was struck by the size and darkness of the place.

It was a very different environment from a cave; it was more like a rocky and unfamiliar terrain full of stones. Stepping slowly, he began to explore his surroundings. With each step, footsteps echoed on the ground, making him feel lonely.

Kael studied the strange vegetation and rock formations around him. He did not know what creatures and dangers lurked in this world, but he had to be careful and cautious.

He used the Force to create a small ball of light to illuminate the path ahead and hovered in the air to get a better view of his surroundings.

As he continued on his way, he saw a small spring of water ahead. He went to quench his thirst and knelt down to drink. While he was drinking, he heard a faint sound coming from a distance.

He immediately became alert and looked in the direction of the sound. He realized that he was not alone in the world.

Kael grabbed his sword and began to search for the source of the sound. After a few minutes, he reached an area that looked like a small settlement. Old and worn huts looked abandoned. However, the tracks around the huts indicated that someone had been here recently.

Cautiously, he approached one of the huts. Opening the door, he looked inside and saw that it was empty. He entered and looked around. Among the old and dusty things he found a map. This map showed the different regions of this world and could guide Kael.

Kael studied the map carefully and realized that he had a long and difficult journey ahead of him. He did not know what he would face here, but with his determination and courage, he was ready to embark on this new adventure.

After packing his things and taking the map with him, he was in the hut when he heard a noise outside. Immediately alert, he approached the window to surreptitiously investigate the source of the sound. What he saw took his breath away; strange, unfamiliar monsters were moving among the huts, making unintelligible noises.

Kael immediately hid and tried to catch his breath. He did not want to meet these creatures and he had to be careful.

Suddenly Kael noticed the outer door of the hut creak open.

His heart began to race. The creature was approaching the hut. He realized that he had to find a safer place inside. He looked around quickly and saw an old closet.

He crept into the closet and slowly closed the door. Holding his breath, he waited for the creature to move around the hut. The creature's footsteps came closer and closer, each step echoing on the floor.

Kael managed to stay calm in the closet, but he was aware of the danger he was in.

Kael waited in the closet, holding his breath and listening to the creature's heavy footsteps as they moved around the cabin. Every step competed with his heartbeat. Eyes closed, he sharpened his senses, trying to perceive even the slightest movement around him.

Summoning the power within him, he tried to remain calm and silent as the creature moved toward the corner of the closet, sniffing the floor where it scratched.

Footsteps approached slowly and then stopped. Kael could hear the breathing of the creature standing just outside the closet door. The tension of the moment seemed to thicken even the air in the cabin.

Kael held his breath, trying not to make the slightest sound.

Suddenly, the creature let out a loud growl and moved quickly toward the door. Kael realized that the creature's attention was elsewhere. He held his breath, waiting for the creature to leave. When the sound of the door closing was heard, Kael took a deep breath.

The creature was gone, but the danger was not over.

Kael carefully opened the cabinet door and stepped out quietly. He looked around, trying to figure out where the creature had gone. As he looked out the window of the hut, he saw the creature sniffing its way through the other huts. Kael had to take advantage of this opportunity.

He slipped out and moved behind the creature from an angle where it could not see him. His heart was still beating fast, but his mind tried to stay calm.

With quiet steps, he got behind the hut without attracting the creature's attention and quickly moved away.

When he was a safe distance away, Kael stopped and took a deep breath. He had survived the danger, but he had no idea what challenges he would face in this world.

After entering a hut that looked safe, he checked the inside.

Everything would have been easier if he had a lightsaber. If only he had taken his blue lightsaber with him.

Holding the sword and the Kyber Crystal in his hand, he decided to continue on his way.

Kael stood in the safe corner of the hut, listening to his surroundings, taking a deep breath and assessing the situation. The darkness of the night was all around him, every corner of the strange world full of unknowns.

Would it make more sense to leave or to spend the night in this hut? The creatures roaming outside were a sign of how dangerous they could be in this world.

On the one hand, Kael thought that moving forward could bring more danger, but on the other hand, he knew that hiding here could be risky.

He looked around to see if it was safe to stay in this hut.

He thought that the door was strong and that it would be difficult for creatures to get in as long as it was kept closed.

However, spending more time here might attract other dangers.

Kael tried to calm himself by listening to the Force within him. He had to trust his instincts to find the best solution.

He listened carefully to the movements of the creatures outside. Spending the night here might give him a chance to rest and regain his strength, but it might also give him a safer journey in the morning.

In the end, he made the reasonable decision that it would be safer to stay in the hut.

He organized his belongings and secured the door and windows. He made a barricade in front of the door and placed some obstacles around it.

He wanted to make it difficult for the creatures to enter.

Kael sat down in a corner of the hut and tried to rest. He closed his eyes and concentrated on feeling the Force within him. He needed to gather strength for the challenges he would face in this strange world.

He dozed through the night, attentive to the sounds outside and planning to continue his journey with the first light of the morning.
