Chapter 4 - Saving a child

Amara POV

I was getting back from school where I met Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. There both good friends to have but Flash Thompson is annoying but I kept tripping him today, not something that will hurt him either but get a laugh really.

When I was about to enter the house I sensed the Ancient One behind me as she opened a portal.

Elena: Yes, can I help you Ancient One?

Ancient One: Actually it's not me that needs help but another.

I turn to her confused as I invited her inside to make tea for her as I wanna know who needs help now.

Ancient One: While I was doing my daily checking of the shields I noticed something. A child who has extraordinary magical talent that surpasses anything I've seen since you.

That got my attention, she's like me, Wanda Maximum, and Billy Maximoff basically, this does not sound good really.

Amara: So the child has great affinity for magic?

Ancient One: Not just magic as she has powers outside magic as well with her magic amplifying them.

Amara: I see, is this child in danger?

I gave her a cup of Tea.

Ancient One: Thank you, yes cause magical dark forces have sensed the child but not just them but the organization The Hand and The Five Weapons Society.

Now that is bad, this kid must have power they want really.

Amara: I see, well I guess I'll have to go save her, where is she?

Ancient One: Orphanage in San Francisco, it's called Grace Angel Orphanage.

I nodded as the Ancient One put the cup down to bow to open the portal to leave as I use my eyes to see the child as she's in the garden helping as she looks so cute. Her age must be five years old, look at that adorable face really.

I smiled at her as she noticed someone looking at her to look around as I stopped to know she is special cause of the magic I'm getting off of her really.

Mom walked through the front door and it's the weekend so better go get this done.

Amara: Hey mom, I'm going to be away for a sec or minute.

Mom: Superhero business?

Amara: Yes, you have your necklace and I'm putting a shield over the place while I'm gone, if anyone gets pass the shield then use the necklace by pushing the button as you'll teleport to me.

Mom: I know sweetheart, you can go.

Amara: Great, I'll see you later.

I teleported away to the building across from the orphanage.
