As they trudged through the undergrowth, the air grew cooler, the scent of water and moss thickening. They were close to the river. Luna could feel it. But something about the quiet nagged at her, setting her on edge.

"Feels too easy," Shura muttered, echoing her thoughts.

Luna nodded. "Stay sharp."

They reached the riverbank, the water shimmering under the pale light filtering through the canopy. The extraction point was supposed to be marked by a sigil etched into one of the larger rocks. Luna scanned the area, her eyes narrowing as she searched for it.

"There," she said, pointing to a jagged boulder near the water's edge. The sigil was faint but unmistakable, glowing softly with residual magic. Relief washed over her as she approached, but it was short-lived.
