At that moment one of the robbers, the youngest of the group, broke into a cold sweat. He glanced nervously at the others before speaking, his voice barely above a whisper.

"We didn't... We didn't mean to kill him. It wasn't supposed to go that far."

"Shut up!" the leader barked, his voice sharp and panicked.

However Kai's eyes zeroed in on the younger man, his expression softening slightly.

"You didn't mean to, huh?" he said, his voice quieter now, almost empathetic.

"But you did. And now you're in a situation that's only going to get worse the longer you stay silent."

The younger man looked down, his hands trembling. The other robbers exchanged uneasy glances, the weight of the situation pressing down on them like a vise.

Kai stood, towering over the table as he gathered the photos back into the file.
