The anger in Kai eyes was palpable as he step outside the interrogating room.

However to his surprise he saw the old man and his son sat at the edge of a couch, their expressions a mix of fear and desperation.

Standing across from them was the boss, the man who had caused all this turmoil.

His smug grin and confident stance only served to ignite Kai's anger even more.

Kai couldn't believe what he was doing in the station, they haven't even arrested him.

At that moment the boss turned to Kai, casually adjusting the dark glasses perched on his nose.

he began, his voice dripping with mock respect.

"I think there's been a misunderstanding here. This man owes me money—a year's worth, to be exact. I'm here to collect what's mine. That's all this is about."

At that moment the old man hesitated before nodding reluctantly.
