Then the man who had spoken earlier squared his shoulders, attempting to regain control of the situation.

"You've got some nerve," he sneered, his voice a mix of anger and forced confidence.

"You're outnumbered, outgunned, and standing in the middle of our territory. You really think you're going to walk out of here?"

Still Kai didn't flinch. His voice, calm but filled with authority, cut through the air like a razor. "Outnumbered doesn't mean outmatched. Guns don't mean power, and territory doesn't mean control. What you have here—" he gestured slightly to the men circling him, "—is fear disguised as confidence. You're scared because you know I'm not like the others."
