Andre was inwardly delighted but outward calm at least with this even if he lost everything he can still live by opening a restaurant and raise his kids right.

The sleek, modern office was bathed in soft, natural light filtering through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The city skyline gleamed outside, a stunning backdrop for Sofia's Fashion House. Inside, the space exuded elegance: cream-colored walls, polished chrome accents, and plush gray carpeting.

A beautiful goddess with raven-black hair fell in loose waves down her back, framing her face,her every frown was captivating if not for her cold aura keeping surrounding her a swarm of bees could be already attracted by her.

Sofia sat at her sleek, modern desk, surrounded by designs, sketches, and samples of exquisite jewelry. Her usually composed face was etched with worry lines, and her eyes were fixed on the stack of invoices in front of her.

"Too much," she whispered to herself. "The quality is impeccable, but the cost...it's suffocating."

Just then, her vice president Rachel, knocked gently on the door and entered.

"Morning, Sofia. How's it going?"

Sofia sighed, running her hands through her long, dark hair. "It's not going, Rachel. These materials are eating into our profits. The diamonds, the rubies, the emeralds...they're all top-grade, but at what cost?"

Rachel nodded sympathetically. "I understand your concerns, but our clients expect nothing but the best. We can't compromise on quality."

"I know, I know," Sofia said, frustration creeping into her voice. "But what about the bottom line? We can't keep hemorrhaging money."

Rachel pulled up a chair beside Sofia. "Actually, I have some good news. Our supplier for the sapphires has agreed to a 10% discount if we order in bulk."

Sofia's eyes lit up. "That's fantastic! What about the diamonds and other raw materials."

"Still negotiating," Rachel replied. "But I'm hopeful we can get a similar deal." Just as they were discussing about the project.

Rachel, Sofia's assistant, burst in, looking frantic.

"Rachel, what's wrong?" Sofia asked, concern etched on her face.

"I was sent to pick up Emily and Jack, but...they're gone," Rachel said, breathlessly.

Sofia's eyes widened. "What do you mean?"

"The school says someone already picked them up. They claimed to be their father."

Sofia's face paled and her hand around the phone tightened.

"Who?" Sofia demanded.

"I don't know. The school didn't get a name. But they described the person...tall, dark hair, wearing a black suit and they said the kids voluntary went along with him."

Sofia's mind raced barely keeping her composure.

"Get the security team on it. Now," Sofia ordered.

Rachel nodded and pulled out her phone.

"What do I tell them?" Rachel asked.

"Tell them to track down anyone matching that description. I want my children found."

Rachel's eyes locked onto Sofia's.

"What if...what if it's really their father?" Rachel ventured curiously.

Sofia's expression hardened.

"I don't have a husband or partner. There is no father."

Rachel's eyes widened but choose not to comment further.

"Oh, okay "

Sofia grabbed her car keys and decided to visit the school just sitting was not helping at all.

Secretary James entered the office before she could leave to inquire.

" Mam you have a meeting with the heir of Kingston in an hour, what do we do."

" Cancel the meeting "

Sofia did not hesitate at all and directly left for the elevator, nothing was more important than seeing her kids with her own eyes safe and sound.

" Okay "

Sofia hurriedly towards her car after the elevator reached the ground floor and got in her Volkswagen, before the engine started a strange number came through,she directly answered the call thinking that it's the assistant who went to do the task to look for the kids.

" Mommy"

" Huh Lauren, Laura where are you,are you with your brother tell me are you alright." Sofia cold face cracked as she become overjoyed and her anxious heart calmed down.

" Of course we okay,mom I will switch to video call now "

Sofia sighed in relief and calmed down seeing that they is no abnormality.

" Yes,yes sweetie mom missed all of you "

" Huh, Mommy are you in the car,are you off from work already " Lauren asked

" And you're looking like you run marathon " Laura giggles together with her siblings.

" Hahaha... Very funny young lady,now where are you" Sofia didn't forget that her children are taken by some stranger claiming to their father.

" We are in a very tallllll restaurant and it's looking very luxury" Laura dramatically tried to explain where they where.

" Imperial suites hotel, VIP room number one."

Andrew replied taking over Laura's explanation.

Sofia heart skipped a beat.
