A-Hunt-Flamel.

Past: Far... far away }

Located in a huge mansion on an immense magical island in the middle of the ocean, a woman with short dark hair that fell to her shoulders, scarlet eyes and a presence of pure power, aimed to look after a man to whom she had devoted all her love and trust over the last millennium.

She met her soul mate when she was a newly-apprenticed vampire, the same rare magic that binds sorcerers and sorceresses with soul mates will serve as a binding bond for Perenell to guide their paths to a small island in the middle of the vast ocean.

In her childhood, she had heard about this magic, but had never thought that it would actually happen to her, until the point at which she met the seductive twenty-year-old sorcerer, Niklaus Flamel.

He was only a recent graduate of the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, but in his time studying he had already reached the supreme level of his race in his latest magical foray, arriving at it prematurely. Focused on rising in the field of alchemy, she laughed at his outrageous ideas as she followed him to a deserted island, getting to know him, targeting him as if he were prey, noticing how he had the ambition to expand it beyond the size of any existing island, to repopulate it with the most brilliant magical species from all over the world, even creating species from fictional works in reality, she had thought at some point that he was mad, and it wasn't much of a novelty since all the wizards she had studied didn't have very stable common sense.

Vampires were immortal beings, their existence a blissful burden, full of endless days, and being a romantic with a passion for literature, she couldn't bear the thought of spending eternity alone, especially when she noticed that her soul mate was nothing more than a mortal, a talented, seductive and funny mortal, of course... but still mortal, and one day she would be alone again.

That's why, in the midst of her perfect romance, Perenell Alucard Tepes aimed to keep her only secret from her love, a secret that would surely destroy him, knowing that the love of his life would live forever while he would grow old and wither away day by day.

She knew that the love of her life would instantly agree to become a vampire, she knew that he had no prejudices against the immortal race, but knowing that he would choose to become a vampire without contest was what terrified her the most, because she really knew that the Magoi of the sorcerers and the vampiric essence would fight day after day until one side prevailed, and having seen it many, many times between her race, she knew that magic would not prevail against the vampiric infection, and she would never, ever take away the passion that guided her love of alchemy and sorcery supreme.

And with such secrecy, far from her knowledge that her love already knew all this, and couldn't help falling even more in love with the beautiful and powerful vampire, he knew the symptoms of vampires, their ways of acting, their lack of apparent reflexes, how she looked at him at the slightest cut that bled in her alchemy sections and how always during the night of such occurrences, Perenell had become truly wild in bed, as if restrained and finally showing her true passionate nature for him.

Because of this, Niklaus had invented many crazy and passionate theories in his line of work, always showing the best side of magic and alchemy, while, at the same time, his most hidden secret aimed to be created and perfected over time.

And so it was that on their happiest day, the day of their magical union, their marriage and lifelong vows, Niklaus Flamel finally presented a crimson ruby ring at the altar. She thought his extravagances were funny, as a small ring with such a large ruby was rather strange, but that was when he explained his greatest secret.

The conclusion of the creation of the Philosopher's Stone, thus dictating in the midst of the vows that he would be with her forever and ever, that from then on they would both begin their true immortal journey, together on an extensive adventure with the potential to last hundreds of years, perhaps even thousands of years if they both so wished, unbound from the fate of time and creating their own path as the most powerful couple in the supernatural world.

For the first time, Perenell cried, finally realizing all the effort and love that her soulmate had been working for since they first met, that her devout passion for alchemy wasn't just about her work or her family name, as much of this society aims to focus on, but about her, an extraordinary and unprecedented focus so that they could go on together for eternity, beyond the boundaries of time and the limits of magical society.

And that their greatest fears had just been crushed, making perfect the ritualistic ceremony of eternal union of magic so rare, called Twin Souls.

Present: July 1st, 1992 }

Perenell Alucard Tepes Flamel was worried, she was angry, no... that wasn't the right word, she was furious.

She knew that the love of her life was a little crazy, over the hundreds of years that they had lived together she had endured everything, she had seen him befriend a talking lion, with four children who went on to become powerful kings and queens, she had seen the founding of a magical castle of surreal power never seen even by her father, who was the most powerful creature in the supernatural world in that society, saw incredible wizards on the rise and in decadence too, society enter its Golden Age and wither away to what is now a state of decadence due to its corrupt governments.

Her husband was always playing God and getting beaten up by his lion best friend, who was like a control anchor so that no one so powerful could destabilize anything, and it was there that Perenell came to the consensus that that lion was the first-class singularity, he was the most powerful entity she had ever seen, and not her father, but this had never been exposed or debated, that lion was too wise and cultured to boast extraordinary powers and potential.

But never, never in all his hundreds of years, had he seen the love of his life play with his life, especially when he had given his Philosopher's Stone to a former student, and that same student had decided to follow in the master's footsteps and play God in a magic school.

According to Niklaus, he had nothing to worry about, even after Albus Dumbledore came with that patronizing, pacifist tone of his, saying that a student of his had fought bravely to protect his relic from a weakened Dark Lord, only for the Stone to be accidentally destroyed in the process by being thrown into the cursed fire.

Over the days, she saw the love of her life age from a handsome man with dark hair, a powerful physique and scarlet eyes, to that of a weakened old man, but his gaze still held all his love, thus affirming that all was well, that his best friend would come to his aid and nothing bad would happen.

She wanted to believe it very much, but ever since she had seen how Albus Dumbledore had grown from an adventurous and curious teenager, to a talented and noble wizard, only to decline into a manipulative politician, with good intentions of course, but letting the divine belief of the magical society cloud his judgment. She knew she couldn't see how Nick still believed that his friend would help him.

Little did she know how wrong she had been in her judgment, especially when the love of her life denied her the last sip of Elixir of Life that would have prevented her immediate demise, and so she went to take a breath of air at the window that overlooked her majestic island inhabited by incredible and rare species, under the bright and shining moonlight.

She thought about how everything had been going, and how she couldn't help but feel the fear she had felt before the wedding, that of losing the love of her life and once again believing that she would live the rest of eternity alone.

And so, little did she feel a source of dark power coming towards her island, and she opened her eyes in sheer surprise as all the barriers on her island were pierced by an obscure mass of chaotic smoke, as everything shattered and cracked like fine glass falling to the ground and as it was speeding towards her land, this mass of obscure smoke had collided with a body of a teenager rolling rapidly out of it.

== Nowhere in the Atlantic Ocean  ==

Harry Potter couldn't deny it. Escaping from the train was truly incredible, from the moment Albus had asked him to return to his relatives' house for a month, a request made with that tone that there was no choice and everything was already planned, it was there that his escape plans began.

Knowing that there was a chance of someone chasing him was even more incredible and only served to increase the adrenaline of the moment that made him really feel alive and free, but remaining in flight for an entire day was not at all pleasant. He felt it draining his magical core, but at the same time, it was as if he only had access to one glass of water of what a whole ocean could provide.

He had thought about giving up and looking for an inn, but seeing that his owl and phoenix had hardly tired of the whole journey, showing such joy and freedom, he had chosen to sacrifice a little more while still not being noticed, let alone followed by anyone after his first short stop.

He had never thought that he would arrive anywhere after twenty-four hours of pure flight, which would allow him to get used to his inner dark entity, at least not during the flight. The ocean was extremely long and he was lucky to get information from a pier on a small fishing island.

Many showed an interest in taking Harry to his destination and Potter could clearly see the intention of the men who were ambitiously staring at his suitcase. He responded by simply touching the scabbard of his sword in pure defiance of the extras, who had only just noticed that he was armed and still carrying a sword.

But in the end, there was nothing easier than buying a compass and map, which allowed him to locate himself in the right direction with the exact latitude and longitude coordinates. He now finds himself flying on the high seas and enjoying the feeling of freedom, even if it comes with the horrible smell of the open sea

[ ... ]

Immersed in the blackness of the night as he flew over the high, fierce waves of the ocean, with the storm raging around him and, by request, his owl and phoenix tucked inside the Muggle suitcase, with Harry able to keep them safe, since it really hadn't been the best choice to deny the help of the fishermen, who, despite showing great interest in his suitcase, were aiming for a boat and Potter, in the midst of exhaustion, had two choices: to return and fall unconscious on the island he had come from, or to continue following his instincts and risk fainting in the middle of the ocean.

Showing the worst sides of himself, Harry aimed to face the unknown at mortal risk, rushing forward. It was like a curtain of silk passing over his skin, and after that it was already noticeable that what had passed through had prevented the storm from entering, but that everything got worse when the pleasant sensation of silk passing over his skin was replaced by a great shattering of glass, and all this against his body.

Figuratively, it could have been the barriers he had just stormed going against him, but in fact, the sensation was more internal, something directly chained to his magical core that seemed to overflow from one moment to the next as he crashed to the ground in his Obscurial form, thus rolling brutally across the icy, damp grass.

The noise had certainly alerted whoever lived on the island, as he could hear someone swearing in what sounded like French to him.

Harry could only disconnectedly notice, still with his back brutally slammed to the ground, a large house, the door being opened, and a woman with beautiful scarlet eyes running towards him, his vision slowly dimming in a feeling of almost total magical drainage, his last effort being to hold tightly to his briefcase, which held everything that mattered most to him.

And with that I end the first chapter of the second Changed Prophecy book.

I really hope you enjoyed it, and don't forget to give that mass of text support in the comments. XD
