Chapter 11

"Congratulations, Desi. You have completed your quest. The reward is now available."

Desi's eyes widened as he read the message. He turned to Sam, his expression serious yet filled with excitement. "Sam, it's time. Let's see what the system has for us next."

The system's calm, mechanical voice spoke, audible but unseen. "Desi, to find your mother, you must enroll in the prestigious St. Edward's Academy in Spain, a school for the rich and royals. The one million dollars will cover your tuition and necessary expenses."

Desi's excitement turned to confusion. "A school? Why would I need to go to a school to find my mother? Is she there?"

The system remained silent, offering no further explanation. Desi's frustration was evident. "System, is my mother at St. Edward's Academy?"

The system did not respond, its silence a source of growing annoyance for Desi. He turned to Sam, who was equally perplexed.

"Why won't it answer?" Desi muttered, clenching his fists.

Sam, trying to lighten the mood, asked the system, "Am I going too?"

The system's voice responded, "No, Sam. You have your own mission to fulfill here."

Sam blinked in surprise. "Wait, what? What mission?"

The system elaborated, "Your mission is to manage and expand the business you and Desi have built. Your support from here is crucial for Desi's success at the academy."

Desi sighed, running a hand through his curly hair. "This is insane. So, I'm going to some fancy school, and you're staying here?"

Sam nodded, his expression a mix of disappointment and determination. "Looks like it. But hey, we've come this far together. I'll handle things here and make sure everything runs smoothly."

Desi gave Sam a tight hug. "I couldn't have done any of this without you, Sam. We're a team, no matter where we are."

Sam grinned, clapping Desi on the back. "Damn right. Now go kick some royal butt at that academy and find your mom."

After the system instructed Desi and Sam on their next steps, in another part of the world, Mr. Thompson, the manager of the prestigious United Strikers Football Club, sat down with Gazi, their top player. The afternoon sun bathed the football pitch in golden light as they spoke.

"Gazi, I have an opportunity for you," Mr. Thompson said, his tone serious yet filled with promise.

Gazi's eyes sparkled with anticipation. "What is it, Mr. Thompson?"

Mr. Thompson leaned forward, his expression intense. "We've been considering ways to elevate your career to the next level. St. Edward's Academy in Spain is recruiting top athletes like yourself. It's a chance for you to not only excel academically but also gain exposure on a global stage."

Gazi's heart raced with excitement. "St. Edward's Academy? In Spain?"

Mr. Thompson nodded. "Yes. We believe that joining their football team will not only enhance your skills but also increase your popularity. It's a stepping stone to greater opportunities in the world of football."

Gazi's mind raced with possibilities. The thought of representing both the United Strikers Football Club and St. Edward's Academy filled him with pride. "I'm in, Mr. Thompson. When do I leave?"

Mr. Thompson smiled, pleased with Gazi's enthusiasm. "There's a recruitment event next week. I'll arrange for you to attend and meet with the academy officials. From there, we'll take it step by step."

Gazi nodded, a fire igniting within him. "Thank you, Mr. Thompson. I won't let you down."

As Gazi left the football pitch, his mind buzzed with excitement. Joining St. Edward's Academy was not just an opportunity—it was a chance to fulfill his dreams and make a name for himself on the world stage.

Little did he know that his path would intersect with another young man on a mission of his own, a mission that would lead them both on a journey of discovery and adventure. But for now, as Gazi looked toward the future with determination in his eyes, he knew that greatness awaited him, and he was ready to seize it with both hands.
