Chapter 111: Great Loot!

Strictly speaking, the A+ job transfer scroll was more valuable than the job scroll for a Biochemical Demon. Not only that, but it was also a profession tied to one's own bloodline.

If combined with the devil's blood essence Novak had just condensed using the Blacklight Virus, the combined value could rival that of an S-level job transfer scroll.

As Novak looked at the scroll in his hands, he couldn't help but feel momentarily stunned. He glanced at his companions and then casually tossed the scroll to Ian.

"Take it," Novak said calmly.

He had no desire for the scroll. After all, his career path was set, and the Hell Messenger scroll, while promising, didn't align with his goals.

Once someone possessed the devil's bloodline, their second career advancement had the potential to lead to an S-level profession, or even SS-level. But even such opportunities didn't meet Novak's requirements for his own career.

Besides, this secret realm exploration had been discovered by Ian, and it had come with its own exclusive mission. Novak wasn't one to be stingy, especially given that he had already obtained the best treasures from this dungeon.

The slightly embarrassed Ian accepted the scroll, glancing at Meimei and Crow to see if they had any objections. Their expressions remained unchanged, which made him sigh in relief.

Novak didn't waste any time on the scroll and instead picked up a skill book.

---

[Hell Black Flame (A-rank): Active Skill – Control the terrifying black flames of Hell with mental power. Extremely powerful, but consumes significant mental energy. Cooldown: 3 minutes.]

---

Another A-rank skill book!

Novak glanced around and caught Crow's eye. The straightforward man spoke up before Novak could say anything.

"Brother, I've said it before—I'm just a fighter. Gaining this much experience is more than enough for me. I really don't need anything else. My talent gives me all the combat power I need. If I lack anything, it's only because of my own stats, not because of gear. Without you, we'd never have cleared this dungeon!"

Novak, satisfied with Crow's self-awareness, threw the skill book to Meimei. Just as she was about to refuse, Novak cut her off.

"Consider this a debt. Next time we come across something more suited to me, you can hand it over. I don't need this right now."

With the A-rank skills granted by the Blacklight Virus, having another one seemed redundant.

Meimei thought about it for a moment and nodded. She had been eyeing the Black Flame skill earlier and was interested in it after all.

Novak's eyes then drifted to the last two remaining items—a quest item called the 'Key to the Dean's Room' and two other items: a piece of equipment and an equipment blueprint.

That's right—after the Zombie Claw and the Biochemical Disaster, Novak finally saw another equipment blueprint drop.

These blueprints were rare!

Even more intriguing was the type of equipment this blueprint described.

---

[Hell's Call – Shepherd's Horn (Blueprint)]

[Armor—Headgear (C-rank to S-rank)]

[Description: Only by defeating a devil boss for the first time will you have the chance to acquire this blueprint. It condenses a portion of Hell's power.]

[Crafting Recipe: 1 pair of purebred devil's horns, Hellfire (Abyssal Flame), 1 Dark Spar]

'(Note: The level of the crafted equipment depends on the strength of the devil. Once an S-rank Shepherd's Horn is created, all future blueprints will be downgraded. No further S-rank horns can be made.)'

[Remark: This is your pass to Hell...]

---

The quality of the crafted equipment would be determined by the materials used, making the blueprint's value far surpass that of the Zombie Claw or even the advanced biochemical disaster gear.

The key materials—Hellfire and Dark Spar—were both rare and precious. If the equipment crafted with these materials ended up lower than B-rank, it would be a waste!

However, acquiring the horns of a purebred devil wouldn't be easy.

The more powerful the horns, the more difficult they would be to obtain.

Novak's eyes gleamed with thought, but the notion quickly faded. Before facing Vale, some memories of the Red Star Mental Hospital had surfaced. Could it be that obtaining purebred devil horns wasn't as hard as he initially thought?

Novak's eyes lit up slightly at the prospect, but he quickly shifted his focus to the remaining piece of equipment.

A small gemstone had dropped—nothing too fancy, but a decent piece of D-rank equipment for level 10.

Novak glanced at it before tossing it to Crow, ignoring his protests.

"Don't refuse. It's just a transitional piece of equipment. You didn't get much out of this run, and while you said you didn't want anything, it wouldn't be fair to walk away with nothing."

Ian, still holding his job transfer scroll, seemed so satisfied that he nearly forgot about his exclusive mission. He wasn't concerned about the smaller loot at all.

It was only when Novak reminded him, "Take the key and check out the Dean's Office," that Ian snapped out of his daze.

He hurried into the office with the key in hand. On the desk, he found trophies and a photo of Vale.

Oddly enough, the man in the photo appeared to be an elderly man in his sixties, nothing like the devilish figure they had just fought.

The only item of particular note was a strange statue on the bookshelf. The statue depicted a devil—armor-clad with restrained wings. Just looking at it stirred an almost instinctual desire to kneel in submission.

Novak's gaze lingered on the statue, memories of his past life resurfacing. A transcendent saint had once mentioned this dungeon and the secrets it held.

Sixteen? Was it referring to the sixteenth?

Just then, Ian's excited shout echoed through the room.

"I found it!"

Novak turned to see Ian waving a special medical record in his hands. Curiosity piqued, Novak hurried over. He was eager to discover what connection Ian's mission had to that mysterious figure.
