Chapter 200: Job Acquisition Difficulty!

Vinland Country.

In a special secret realm, there stood an enormous playground.

At the center of this desolate playground, two figures faced each other. One was a young Caucasian man with blond hair, blue eyes, and a strikingly handsome, model-like physique.

Yet, surrounding him were countless corpses—some of zombies, others of various ghostly entities, and among them lay the bodies of fallen evolutionists who had joined him, now lifeless and scattered across the ground. His own body bore numerous wounds, and his silver-white soft armor was smeared with dark bloodstains.

Before him stood an unusual figure: a clown. It held a bunch of balloons, though only one remained intact, while the rest were tattered. The clown's limbs were twisted at odd angles, revealing the intense battle that had brought them both to this point.

Despite his injuries, the young man's gaze never wavered from the clown. His body moved with uncanny flexibility, almost beyond human capability, and a sharpened bone jutted from his arm, forming a bone blade. His wounds, though severe, began to slowly heal, his resilient body recovering.

Then, he lunged at the clown once more.

This young man was Anthony Douglas.

The possessor of an SSS-level talent, 'Thousand Shifts'.

While Transfiguration was generally considered a modest ability, Anthony's SSS talent was something extraordinary.

His eyes shone a fierce blue as he focused on his goal. If he could kill the clown before him, his job transfer quest would be complete.

The reward: an S-level class called 'Juggler'.

Though the name might sound unremarkable, its powers were perfectly suited to his 'Thousand Shifts' talent. However, the job transfer quest was brutal. He had brought over a dozen elite evolutionists with him, and all had perished in this forsaken place. But their sacrifices weren't in vain—he had studied and understood the clown's every move and was now confident in his ability to win.

The clown reacted, but Anthony's legs transformed, becoming a massive python that coiled around his opponent.

Ten minutes later, the last balloon popped with a bang.

The final boss of this nightmare-level dungeon had been vanquished. In its place, a job transfer scroll appeared in Anthony's hand. Without hesitation, he seized it, his eyes glinting with triumph.

It had been nearly a month since the cataclysmic events had begun, and as an SSS-level talent holder, his journey had been one of near-constant success. But a thorn remained—on the other side of the ocean, a certain individual from the Faeloria Country had consistently outshone him. This mysterious "White Emperor" had stayed ahead in every challenge, attracting all manner of attention.

Anthony surmised that this so-called "first evolutionist" who completed a job change had achieved something even more impressive than clearing dungeons. A public announcement was probably inevitable.

'Hmph! So what if he's the first Evolutionary to clear a Nightmare Dungeon? I will be the one to become the first job changer!'

Now, he would show not only the Faeloria Country but the entire world that it was the evolvers of Vinland Country who stood at the pinnacle of power!

With this thought, Anthony crushed the 'Juggling Clown' job scroll in his hand.

Just as he crushed the job transfer scroll, a voice resonated with the weight of cosmic will:

[Evolutionary "White Emperor," the first to complete the job transfer. The Gods and Demons Trial Field has now entered the evolution phase, and the national ranking boards are now open...]

Anthony's once-confident expression froze, transformed into stunned disbelief.

Meanwhile, in Chat Group No. 001:

[Ruby]: The group's been pretty quiet lately! Where is everyone?

[Just Ian]: Everyone's likely preoccupied with job transfers! Dang, isn't there anyone to lend a hand to a poor soul like me? I'm only 10,000 experience points shy of Level 10—come on!

[Overlord]: Forget it, Ian. Everyone's focused on their job transfer scrolls, and you already have one. They're all keeping a close eye on you, haha!

[I'm really not a sword fairy]: This S-level Chief Disciple position from Somi Mountain isn't a walk in the park—seriously, the swordsmanship requirements are crazy!

[Whiplash of the Skies]: Ugh, could you stop bragging? My friend's stuck on his Lightning Walker class because of that annoying dwarf! Lucky enough to find him, but actually finishing the quest? Too tough. And meanwhile, you waltz into Somi-masen Mountain Road and get a free job scroll?!

[I'm really not a sword fairy]: Alright, alright, I'll keep it low-key… But how's your job hunt going, Crow?

[Crow]: Stop asking! I hit level 10 five days ago and still haven't found a solid job lead—simply ridiculous!

[Vince]: I wonder who will be the first to complete a job transfer on Kepler? Brother White's been missing for over ten days now.

[Just Ian]: Didn't he mention last time that he's doing another job transfer quest? Another SSS-level job, can you believe it?!

By now, all the members in the chat group were fully aware of just how tough it was to secure a high rank job scroll. Even powerful figures like Crow, who was among the group's elite, struggled to find a role suited to him—except for Novak, whose path seemed unmatched.

How remarkable that Novak even dared to go for a second SSS-level job. Such resolve and bravery!

[Zezelia]: But it's been ages since White Emperor left—isn't ten days long?

[Just Ian]: Let's hope Brother White stays safe and succeeds...

Just then, a system notification sounded:

[Evolutionary "White Emperor," the first to complete the job transfer. The Gods and Demons Trial Field has now entered the evolution phase, and the level rankings of various countries have opened.]

For a moment, an utter silence descended upon the entire chat group.
