The city of Gotham had fallen to Raven.
After many nights of covert ops operations and a little pink here and now all accumulated to Raven's firm hold on Gotham City. The court of owls remained silent on this matter and other hidden figures, they all collectively agreed that if this was something the Batman couldn't handle after a whole month then this matter was out of their hands. But this didn't mean they were going to take this lying down without showing some girth, if firepower couldn't work against her or tactical strike teams, then they would fight magic with magic. After all, even mages need money.
There was once a popular saying among mages, "Don't fuck with an employed mage."
They say they have more time, resources and motivation to study, prepare and remember all their spells like their transactions before.
Raven stood at the edge of Gotham's tallest skyscraper, surveying her empire. Every shadow in the city now bent to her will, and every crime boss, every petty crook, and even the most fearsome villains had sworn fealty to her. The streets, once choked with crime and chaos, now moved to her rhythm. The very fabric of the city's underworld trembled under her rule.
The crime bosses had been no match for her power. Penguin, Falcone, Black Mask, and others had bent the knee without raising so much as a fist. After all, what could their armies of thugs do against someone who could tear the very shadows from beneath their feet and turn them into weapons? What could any of them do against a being who held the power of the divine, the arcane, and the shadows all within her grasp? Even their very armies had submitted long before them, a move the wickedly intelligent crime bosses of Gotham could respect even though they hated to lose like this.
Raven had no need for battles when her mere presence made men crumble. They knew she was unstoppable. Some, like Oswald Cobblepot, had attempted to flee, only to find that even their most trusted bodyguards had already submitted to Raven, their loyalty bought with promises of survival and power under her reign. Others, like Black Mask, had tried to negotiate but found that Raven was not interested in diplomacy—only submission.
And as for the Joker… his fate had been sealed long before Gotham's shadows fully embraced their new queen.
There had been no grand confrontation, no climactic battle of wits, no villain monologue exchange, no dick measuring, no plan reviews, no trophy show.
Raven had simply cast a high-tiered spell on Gotham's notorious clown prince of crime, rewriting his very essence. In an instant, the Joker had ceased to exist, replaced by a mild-mannered, law-abiding citizen, a nightmare the Joker never thought would become a reality. A working-class man with a normal job, normal ambitions, and no memory of the madness and mayhem he had once caused. Deep in his subconscious, a fail-safe remained—a dark thread of Raven's magic that would obliterate his soul should he ever try to regain his former self. Gotham's greatest agent of chaos had been neutralized with little more than a whisper. That alone sent untold fear to the crime bosses who thought there could be a comeback anytime soon.
With Gotham firmly in her grasp, there was nothing left to challenge her in the city. Batman was compromised, his mind and body weakened from Raven's recent conquest. Batgirl worked under Raven's dominion, keeping the city's vigilantes in check while playing her role as a loyal servant. Gotham was a kingdom now, and Raven its undisputed ruler. Huntress and Batgirl were managing the city now under in the name of thier goddess.
But Raven's ambitions stretched far beyond the dark alleys of Gotham. There was more power to claim—power that flowed through the veins of another magical being. Zatanna Zatara.
As she turned her gaze toward her next conquest, Raven knew that Zatanna, with all her talents and tricks, would be a far more intricate prize. Unlike Gotham's criminals, Zatanna wielded true magic. She had a mind sharp enough to resist, at least at first, and power that could be an asset to Raven if controlled correctly. With Batman's preptime embedded in her she knew she had to take Zatanna by surprise before she knows about the changes happening in the world.
Raven's eyes gleamed with the dark anticipation of a predator. This would not be a simple fight. This would be a battle of wills, a temptation that Raven would master. And in the end, Zatanna would kneel, just like all the others.
With a swirl of shadows, Raven left Gotham behind, knowing that her dominion was absolute. Her next stop: the magician's lair.
Zatanna's mansion was grand, hidden behind magical wards that shimmered faintly in the night. But Raven wasn't fazed. The wards meant nothing to someone who had already absorbed the divine essence of Diana, the Kryptonian power of Superwoman, and the cunning intellect of Batman. With a simple gesture, Raven weaved her own magic into the wards, unraveling them like loose threads until they fell away, leaving Zatanna's sanctuary vulnerable.
Inside, Zatanna sat at her vanity, unaware of the approaching storm. She had heard whispers of Raven's growing influence, of Gotham's strange calm and the way its villains had all but disappeared. But she had never imagined that the dark sorceress would come for her.
"Zatanna," Raven's voice echoed through the mansion, a seductive whisper that slithered into Zatanna's ears. "We need to talk."
Zatanna stood abruptly, her heart racing as she cast a defensive spell around herself. "Raven? What are you doing here?" she called out, her voice steady but laced with tension.
Raven stepped out of the shadows, her form draped in darkness, her presence overwhelming the room. "I've come to offer you something," she said, her voice smooth and commanding. "A chance to join me. To be part of something greater than anything you've ever imagined."
Zatanna's eyes narrowed, her fingers twitching, ready to summon her magic. "And if I refuse?"
'Did her father take over her body already? Damnit! No warnings, no destroyed cities, what the fuck? No. Calm down, if it was REALLY her father, I wouldn't even be offered a question.' Zatanna questioned in thought. A year before now Batman had invited her and Constantine to inform them that they are counters to Raven losing to her father sealed in her as the worst-case scenario since there was little Superman could even do to such an entity. But having this happening now put a chill on Zatanna.
Raven smiled, a dark, knowing smile. "Then I'll take what I want anyway."
The room seemed to close in around them as Raven's aura pulsed, her power filling the air. Zatanna felt the weight of it pressing down on her, making it harder to think, harder to resist. She cast a quick spell under her breath, hoping to push Raven back, but the dark sorceress was already inside her mind, whispering temptations, playing on Zatanna's deepest desires as Raven made a pinching motion with her right hand as Zatanna's voice was cut off!
"You're powerful, Zatanna. But you've barely scratched the surface of what you could be," Raven said, stepping closer. "Join me, and I'll show you real magic. I'll show you pleasures beyond your wildest dreams."
'How? How?.. My thoughts… they're… scatter… ugh… she's… too powerful… so beautiful.' Zatanna thought as Raven eyed the sorceress.
Zatanna's breath caught in her throat. She wanted to resist, to fight back, but Raven's presence was intoxicating, her words like honey seeping into Zatanna's soul.
"I don't need you," Zatanna hissed as she concentrated, breaking out of Raven's hold with all her might as her resolve was beginning to waver. "I can fight you."
Raven chuckled softly, her fingers trailing through the air, summoning shadows that wrapped around Zatanna's body, not tight, but enough to make her feel the pressure. "Fight me?" she purred. "Or join me? Honey, the fight has barely started and you are already out of breath and magical energy."
Zatanna shivered, her body responding to the seductive power that Raven exuded. The shadows pressed against her skin, teasing her senses, filling her mind with images of submission, of bending to Raven's will and feeling the surge of power that came with it.
Raven leaned in close, her lips brushing Zatanna's ear. "You know you want this. You know you want me."
Zatanna's defenses faltered. Her body betrayed her, her breath quickening as her mind struggled to hold onto her last shred of resistance. "I... I..."
"Shhh..." Raven whispered, her hand sliding over Zatanna's neck. "Just let go."
With a soft moan, Zatanna's will crumbled. The shadows tightened around her, pulling her to her knees before Raven, her body trembling with a mixture of fear, desire, and submission.
Raven smiled down at her, her victory assured. "Good girl," she murmured, lifting Zatanna's chin so their eyes met. "Now, let me show you what it means to serve a true goddess."
Zatanna's breath hitched as Raven's magic poured into her, filling her with a dark, electric pleasure that coursed through every inch of her body. She gasped, her eyes widening as she felt her own power being amplified, her very soul being bound to Raven's will.
At that moment, Zatanna knew she was no longer her own. She had been claimed, body and soul, by the Futa Goddess.
Raven stepped back, satisfied as Zatanna knelt before her, eyes glazed with pleasure and submission. The powerful sorceress was now hers, another conquest to add to her ever-growing harem of empowered women.
As Raven turned to leave, shadows swirling around her, she knew that with Zatanna's magic under her command, no force in the world would be able to stop her.
