The room fell into a stunned silence as ZeroVeil's words hung in the air. Everyone present exchanged uneasy glances, the weight of his claim pressing down on them like a stormcloud.

Gundyr broke the silence, his voice heavy with skepticism. "That doesn't make sense," he said firmly. "For Zigalt to do something like this? The Blight doesn't care who helps it. It has no mind, no reason. It consumes everything and anything without distinction."

ZeroVeil leaned back slightly, his arms crossed in an attempt to appear nonchalant. "Hey, I'm just telling you what I heard," he said with a casual shrug. "It's up to you to take it or leave it. I'm not here to convince anyone."

The Duke's voice exploded like thunder, his anger boiling over. "Watch your tone, boy! You're speaking to Gundyr. Show some respect!"
