Outside the School Building.
I find Rin leaning casually against the wall outside the school building.
His posture is relaxed — one hand tucked into the pocket of his blazer, the other loosely holding a juice box. His gaze is steady beneath the soft stretch of afternoon light filtering through the overcast sky.
His eyes flick toward me as I step out of the hallway.
"Hey," Rin says.
My chest tightens. My gaze sharpens faintly beneath the weight of his stare.
"Hey," I say.
He tilts his head slightly. His gaze lingers for a second too long before he shifts the juice box between his fingers and gestures toward the courtyard.
"You're Yuto, right?"
I stiffen. "Yeah."
Rin's mouth curves faintly at the edges. "Kaori talked about you."
My chest tightens painfully beneath the weight pressing down on my ribs.
Kaori talked about me?
