Chapter 206: Pioneering with Madara

Land of Earth.

An enraged, rebellious teenager unleashed his fury without restraint.

"Katsu! Katsu! KATSU!"

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Deidara reduced several abandoned villages to rubble.

Yet, despite the destruction, his anger showed no sign of subsiding.

"Damn it! Those two just left me behind like that!"

Fury burned brighter, and recklessness took hold of Deidara's thoughts.

"I'll capture the Five-Tails Jinchūriki myself! Hmph!"

"I'll show them Deidara's art doesn't need anyone's help! Hmph!"

Once Deidara made a decision, he wasted no time.

He turned toward Iwagakure and set off.

Before long, the towering mountain ranges of the village appeared on the horizon. Hidden behind this natural fortress lay Iwagakure.

After confirming his position, Deidara dove into the earth, navigating effortlessly through the ground like a mole.

...

Inside the Kamui Dimension.

"Why do you keep looking for people? I'm dying of boredom here!" Hidan grumbled impatiently.

He pointed at Obito, then at himself and Sasori.

"You, me, and that guy over there—don't we have enough people to handle this already?"

Sasori cast a cold glance at Hidan and said flatly, "Three. Can't you count?"

Hidan raised his scythe, holding it against Sasori's neck.

"Are you mocking me, brat?!"

Sasori's expression didn't change, but his hand moved toward the scrolls on his back.

Seeing this, Obito barked, "Hidan! Behave, or I'll kick you out!"

"Tch."

Hidan reluctantly lowered his scythe and walked away, muttering under his breath.

Obito turned to Sasori and said, "Sasori, I'll be heading out for a bit. Stay here and keep an eye on Hidan. If he causes trouble again, feel free to deal with him. Just don't break him too much."

Sasori nodded slightly. "Understood."

Without another word, Obito grabbed the barely conscious Yugito Nii and exited the Kamui Dimension.

...

At Uchiha Madara's Base.

Obito emerged from the Kamui Dimension with Yugito in tow.

"Grandfather Madara, I'm back. And I brought you a gift."

Madara turned around slowly, his booming laughter echoing through the chamber.

"Ahahaha! Well done, Obito! My grandson never disappoints. Eh?"

Halfway through his laughter, Madara noticed something unusual. Unlike his usual demeanor, Obito wasn't smiling along with him.

Frowning, Madara asked, "Obito, what's with the long face? You look as gloomy as Black Zetsu!"

That single comment shattered Obito and Black Zetsu's composure.

Black Zetsu fumed internally, I created you, Madara, and this is the thanks I get?!

Meanwhile, Obito groaned, "Grandfather, how could you compare me to Black Zetsu? That's just cruel!"

Madara chuckled. "Alright, alright. My mistake. Black Zetsu's nothing compared to my beloved grandson."

"???" Black Zetsu was speechless.

Still pouting, Obito said, "Grandfather, someone bullied your grandson. Are you going to do something about it or not?"

Madara's expression turned curious. With Obito's power, few could stand against him in the current shinobi world. Who could've dared to provoke him?

"Obito, tell me everything. What happened?"

Obito recounted his experience, from pursuing a rogue subordinate to seeking information at Ryūchi Cave. He described how, despite following their rules, he faced discrimination and underhanded attacks.

"That's what happened, Grandfather! If I hadn't escaped quickly, you wouldn't be seeing me now!"

Madara narrowed his eyes as he processed the information.

Hmm… a rogue subordinate… Ryūchi Cave and Mount Myōboku have always been at odds… everything checks out…

After a moment's thought, Madara's voice thundered with fury.

"Outrageous! No one bullies an Uchiha Madara's grandson! Not even the White Snake Sage—or the Sage of Six Paths, for that matter!"

He rose to his feet, declaring, "Obito, take me to Ryūchi Cave. I'll settle this personally!"

[Party Assembled (4/4). The dungeon is about to open!]

Obito's face lit up with a smile. "Thank you, Grandfather!"

The two exchanged a glance, laughing in sync.

"Ahahaha!"

With the Two-Tails sealed, Obito eagerly looked at Madara.

"Grandfather, shall we head to the White Snake Sage now? They're in a different dimension, so I'll need to use my Sharingan to get us there."

Madara waved dismissively. "Of course. I trust you. Use your Sharingan."

Obito smirked inwardly. Trust? Hah, you've probably been working on a way to resist Kamui this entire time.

"Kamui!"

Red light flared from Obito's eyes as he teleported them both into the Kamui Dimension.

Madara scanned his surroundings curiously. "So, this is your dimension, huh? …Hmm? Who are they?"

He noticed Sasori and Hidan approaching.

Hidan, swinging his scythe, asked, "Who's this? Never seen him before. Where's he from?"

Ignoring Hidan, Obito introduced them.

"Grandfather, these are my subordinates, Hidan and Sasori. They'll be assisting us in this operation."

Hearing the word "grandfather," Sasori's eyes widened. Grandfather… ?!

Obito then gestured to Madara. "And this is my grandfather—Uchiha Madara, the Demon of the Battlefield!"

Sasori's thoughts raced, but he managed a nod.

"Wait, WHAT?!" Hidan exclaimed. "Uchiha Madara's been dead for decades!"

Madara snorted. "Watch your tongue, boy. I've tolerated your insolence twice. Don't test me a third time, or I'll snap your neck."

Hidan froze, then muttered, "Tch."

Obito sighed, "Grandfather, my subordinates are… unique."

Madara chuckled. "Interesting group you've got here."

Obito clapped his hands. "Alright, everyone, prepare for battle. We're moving out!"

The space within Ryūchi Cave trembled violently as Obito forced his way in.
