Snorlax Crushes the Rock Titan

Even though Snorlax had a reputation for being immensely powerful, its drawbacks were equally famous. It was heavy, sluggish, perpetually lazy, and had an insatiable appetite. For most trainers, investing effort into raising a Snorlax simply wasn't worth it. However, trainers who could develop a formidable Snorlax were almost always exceptional.

Brandon acknowledged Snorlax's potential but couldn't help his curiosity. How had Ash trained this seemingly cumbersome Pokémon into something capable of standing against the mighty Regirock?

As the Rock Titan's Stone Edge attack surged toward Snorlax, the Pokémon countered by stomping its powerful feet into the ground.

Two deep footprints were left behind as cracks spread across the battlefield. With this newfound leverage, Snorlax nimbly dodged the incoming barrage of sharp stones, an agility no one had expected from its hefty frame.

"Regirock?"

Even the stalwart titan paused, as if dumbfounded by Snorlax's surprising flexibility.

"Snorlax, use Defense Curl again!" Ash called out.

"Regirock, lock onto it!" Brandon countered, activating Lock-On to ensure its next attack would hit.

While Snorlax continued boosting its defenses, Brandon knew that Regirock's monstrous power would still dominate if it could land a decisive blow. The Pokémon charged forward, its massive fists glowing as it prepared a devastating Hammer Arm.

Ash's Snorlax, though unable to dodge due to the Lock-On, was ready for the impact.

"Snorlax, use Protect, and then Defense Curl one more time!"

A faint green shield materialized around Snorlax just as Regirock's Hammer Arm collided with full force. Despite Regirock's relentless assault, the barrier held firm, giving Snorlax time to bolster its defenses yet again.

Brandon frowned. "Defense Curl again? What's your plan, Ash?"

Unbeknownst to him, Ash was carefully orchestrating a strategy that hinged on patience and precision.

"Regirock, use Ancient Power!" Brandon ordered, hoping for the stat boost that could turn the tide of battle.

Snorlax had already completed three rounds of Defense Curl and was now ready for the next phase.

"Snorlax, use Protect one more time, then follow up with Belly Drum!"

Ash communicated the plan directly to Snorlax using his Aura powers, ensuring the Pokémon understood the importance of this pivotal moment.

Unfortunately, luck was not on Ash's side. Protect failed on its second consecutive attempt!

Regirock's Ancient Power crashed into Snorlax, sending shards of rock flying and burying the Pokémon in rubble.

Ash's companions gasped. "What bad luck! Protect failed so soon!"

Though things looked grim, the debris conveniently masked Snorlax's use of Belly Drum, which sacrificed half its health to maximize its attack power. When Snorlax emerged from the rubble, it looked battered but far more determined.

"Snorlax, use Rest!" Ash commanded.

This surprised Brandon. The combination of Defense Curl, Belly Drum, and now Rest hinted at a fearsome strategy. He realized Snorlax had been steadily preparing itself for a decisive moment.

"Regirock, use Ancient Power again!"

As the attack raced toward the dozing Snorlax, Ash countered with: "Snorlax, use Sleep Talk!"

Everyone held their breath, hoping for a powerful response. But Snorlax's Sleep Talk resulted in… Lick.

The scene was almost comical as Snorlax stuck out its tongue in its sleep, licking at nothing in particular.

Brandon smirked, sensing an opportunity. "Regirock, use Ancient Power again!"

This time, Regirock's attack boosted its stats across the board. Its increased power made the looming Hammer Arm even more dangerous.

Ash gritted his teeth. "Snorlax, wake up! Use your full strength to counter!"

Snorlax's eyes snapped open just as Regirock's glowing fist descended toward it. With no time to dodge, Ash gave the only command he could.

"Snorlax, unleash your ultimate Focus Punch!"

Snorlax roared, channeling all its strength into one devastating punch. The battlefield shook as the two titans collided, their fists connecting with earth-shattering force. The impact launched both Pokémon backward like ragdolls.

Snorlax, bolstered by its enhanced defenses and colossal weight, managed to land on its feet with a thunderous crash that left the ground trembling. With a triumphant bellow, it swung its arms in victory.

Regirock, on the other hand, smashed into the wall of the Battle Pyramid, its body embedded deep in the structure. The Rock Titan was unable to move.

"Regirock is unable to battle! Snorlax wins!"

The audience erupted in cheers as Ash's brilliantly executed strategy paid off. Using a combination of Defense Curl, Belly Drum, Rest, and Sleep Talk, he had turned Snorlax into a near-unstoppable juggernaut.

Even Brandon, known for his stoic demeanor, couldn't help but smile. "Ash, you never cease to amaze me. This battle is far from over, but your Snorlax is truly exceptional."
