Niu Niu's Concerns 2

No matter what kind of species it is, everyone starts at level 0. For example, if Niuniu had been born in the Divine Realm, she would have had all kinds of resources to enhance her power. This is why young magical creatures and newborn beasts are so easily able to form contracts.

"Father..." Niuniu whispered with a choked voice, thinking of her father, whose fate remained unknown. The time-space rift was different from a regular space tear; it could transport someone to an unknown distant place, or even back in time—everything was uncertain.

At that moment, Ryan woke up and saw Niuniu crying and calling for her father. Looking around, he found no one else. Was she calling him? He thought of how Niuniu had lost her parents, and how his own parents had divorced, leaving him devoid of love as well. Moved, Ryan impulsively grabbed Niuniu and pressed her to his cheek, dramatically saying, "Don't worry! Daddy's here."

Niuniu, who had been lost in her memories, suddenly felt someone grab her, and before she knew it, a dark face was inches away from hers. "Ah! Bastard! Go die!" Niuniu exploded, her tiny fist flying toward Ryan's face as she muttered to herself, "Just hitting your face!"

Ryan, still lost in his own thoughts, suddenly found the world spinning, and before he knew it, he was on the ground. A sharp pain struck his mind, "Ouch!"

...

"Tell me, how did you manage to cast over a hundred Fireballs?" Niuniu, pretending she didn't see Ryan's pitiful state, asked. You see, Niuniu had known since she was still in the egg that her father used to bully her mother every night. Her mother's screams would echo endlessly, which made Niuniu grow up believing that all men were bad, only knowing how to hurt women! (*High-level angels have genders! Low-level angels are not sexually mature yet, i.e., they're like children!)

"I was going to tell you..." Ryan had no intention of answering Niuniu at first, but since she asked about the best part, he couldn't help but explain while nursing his swollen cheeks. Little did he know that his words only made him seem "asking for it" in Niuniu's eyes. If Ryan knew how she felt, he probably wouldn't have said a word.

"Spill it. What else?" Niuniu asked seriously, already impressed by Ryan's earlier explanation. If a mage had five times the magical power of an average person, that would be extraordinary. What about even higher levels, like a 9th-level mage or a 10th-level god? Niuniu thought to herself, "If my father had five times the divine power of others..." This thought shocked her; perhaps her father was the ruler of the Divine Realm!

"Well, I... I don't know why," Ryan hesitated, giving a vague answer. He didn't know how his Qi Gong was helping his meditation, but he knew it was something no one could easily explain.

"Yeah, yeah. Go do your thing." Niuniu waved her hand, telling Ryan to go wash up since he hadn't taken a bath since last night after extinguishing the fire.

"Ah, this must be a matter of physical constitution," Niuniu thought. She couldn't find anything in her inheritance memories that explained Ryan's strange situation, so she reluctantly concluded that it was just due to his physique.

"By the way, Niuniu, when I meditate, I seem to feel some other elements. There's black, white, purple, green, blue, gold, and even a little bit of transparency, some gray too!" Ryan, just about to step into the bath (a large wooden tub), suddenly recalled the strange sensation he had while meditating and asked loudly.

"What? A multi-elemental physique?" Niuniu nearly lost her mind. To break through to the Saint Realm, a mage would have to study a secondary element, but if they didn't avoid incompatible ones, they could reach legendary levels. To become the ruler of the Divine Realm, they would need to train in all elements. When fighting, however, mages would always use the element they were best at, just like a warrior would choose the weapon they were most proficient in.

"Hmm," Niuniu didn't know how to teach Ryan other elements, so she tried to brush him off.

"Niuniu! I'm asking you something!" Ryan wouldn't let her off the hook.

Niuniu, speechless.

"Niuniu, what's wrong?"

"Niuniu, Niuniu!" Ryan raised his voice higher, dragging the name out.

"Hmph! If you're so capable, go ahead and practice all the elements. If you can master all elements, you won't ever hit a bottleneck. As long as your magical power is sufficient, you'll naturally level up to the next stage," Niuniu said, then flew off. But Niuniu had left something unsaid: the amount of magic needed to level up would multiply according to how many elements one practiced. For example, if Ryan needed 1 unit of magical power to level up, training five elements would require 5 units. Niuniu had forgotten to tell him that mental power would be limited—if Ryan knew this, he might have second thoughts about going down this path!

"Without bottlenecks? That means I can go straight to level 10, the highest rank for mages on the continent! Haha! Gold in my left hand, gold in my right hand! A beautiful woman on my left, another one on my right! Haha!" Ryan shouted, overjoyed.

"Will he really go train like this? If he messes up his magic source, what then? Maybe he should switch to becoming a warrior. Hmm, that's a good idea." Niuniu grumbled as she flew toward Harry City, her mind wandering, but she forgot that her inherited memories might not suit Ryan. Their bloodlines and species were completely different.

"What should I do? The moment I absorbed a little bit of another element, my head feels like it's about to explode. If I take in any more, won't my brain just blow up?" Ryan had acted impulsively, but now his head felt like it was about to split open. He was seriously regretting his decision.

"Idiot, idiot! You've embarrassed yourself. You're a fool! If not you, then who else would have gone through this?" Ryan stared at the fire for a while, then jumped up as if performing a street dance, laughing and scolding himself. Could it be that Ryan had lost his mind?
