Chapter 84: The Elephant Tower

Over the years, aside from Varg, I have never truly admired anyone. However, the old man Wu before me has completely captivated me.

Noticing my lingering gaze on the cards, Old Wu seemed indifferent. With a casual flick of his bangs, he arrogantly declared, “Alright, I won’t entertain you any longer, little gambler. I must take my leave…”

“Wait a moment!” I interjected urgently.

“You just said that if you lost, you’d agree to one thing for me!”

Old Wu’s eyes twirled mischievously. “And what would that be?”

I gestured toward the playing cards lodged in the tree, saying, “I want you to teach me how to throw cards and shoot dice!”

“Dream on!” Old Wu rejected me immediately without a second thought, his expression leaving no room for negotiation.
