Chapter 283: Frustration

The dealer commenced dealing the cards, with the lady occupying the third betting position.

She received two face-down cards. As I mentioned earlier, the gameplay of "Five Small Dragons" closely resembles that of Blackjack, with the distinction that in informal settings, the initial two cards dealt are always concealed.

Players make decisions about whether to draw additional cards based solely on the values of their two hidden cards. The drawn cards, however, are revealed.

Subsequently, the dealer assesses the value of the visible cards to predict whether a player may bust. For instance, if you reveal a ten, the likelihood of busting increases significantly. Hence, the dealer can compare hands before drawing additional cards, avoiding being caught out if they bust themselves.

When it came time for this lady to decide on drawing, she tapped the table, prompting the dealer to deal her another card.
