As I was lost in thought, Selena reemerged dressed for the occasion.

The moment I laid eyes on her, I was momentarily awestruck. She wore a flowing, purple silk slip dress that gracefully accentuated her alabaster shoulders. The deep V neckline revealed enticingly charming collarbones, adorned with a delicate crystal pendant that shimmered softly. She had even styled her hair neatly, adding a touch of elegance.

The mature yet alluring air about her quickened the beat of my heart. Seeing my captivated gaze, Selena playfully chided me, “What’s the matter? Do I look unappealing?”
