Turning to Selena and Su Mei, I instructed, "You two go ahead and get on the boat. I'll catch up later!" 


Su Mei nodded and directly boarded the speedboat. Selena, however, didn't move. She turned to me, her expression filled with sorrow, and softly said, "Sir..." She didn't continue, but I already knew what she wanted to say. 


"Could you let my brother go with us?" Selena's voice was low. I could sense her own hesitation, and she even dared not meet my gaze directly. 


I flicked the cigarette butt onto the deck and looked at Selena, countering, "What do you think?"
