Chapter 54: Marcus’s Downfall

There was a lot of tension in Andrew's workplace. He sat behind his enormous mahogany desk, looking in control, but his eyes were burning with wrath. Evidence, contracts, bank statements, and a damning chain of emails connecting Marcus to a history of unethical activities were among the papers strewn all over the surface.

Jordan grimaced as he adjusted his glasses. "Andrew, this is more than just fraud. Marcus may face criminal charges if we proceed with this. Are you prepared for a fight like that?

Andrew's voice became hard as his jaw tensed. When he attempted to turn Amelia and the infant against me, he went too far. He is not worthy of my pity.
