Broken Venom

Mirabel was a young and beautiful American girl whose parents were missionaries in Africa but died from a cholera outbreak. Mirabel survived the bouts but couldn't find her way back home. She grew up in a convent in a small African town and later worked as a maid in a palace. She fell in love with the prince, and then they both committed a faux pass by violating the mandate of the gods, leading to a spit of venom from the river goddess. This story is about love, passion, betrayal, curse, and combat between forces beyond the physical.
