"It's Her"

It was morning already and the room was bright with a new feeling, the air thick in anticipation. The sunlight streaming into the room through the window blinds casted a warm glow over the dorm room.

Blake stared at Louis and sighed, before tapping him for the umpteenth time. "Come on Louis, we'll be late for classes"

Louis rubbed his eyes, yawned then covered himself again with the duvet. "Just five more minutes" he muttered.

"We're seniors now remember" Blake said with a knowing smirk and instantly Louis flung the duvet off his body and jumped from the bed, falling on his butt.

"Ouch!" Louis winced remaining on the floor. "Not on the first day of the session"

Blake stared blankly at him for a while, before bursting into fists of laughter "You can't stop being dramatic can you?, anyways I'll be taking a walk...don't miss me too much" he winked walking to the door.

"I thought we're already behind schedule" Louis raised a brow.

"Well... I'm dressed already" Blake said his piercing blue eyes staring at Louis. "Once I'm back, well be heading for lectures"

Louis got off the floor and a teasing smirk found it's way to his lips.

"What's going on in your mind?" Blake asked with a suspicious glare.

"I should call you flower boy from now on" Louis said and rushed into the bathroom.

Meanwhile, in the Girls Dorm, Charlene paced anxiously in her room.

"Today please go well" she muttered to herself feeling uneasy.

Hazel watching from a corner, chuckled softly. "She never really listens" Hazel murmured, shaking her head.

Charlene's emotions were totally unsettled, the thoughts of resuming lectures with her kind overwhelmed her, what if she's not accepted here too or she just acts unlike everyone else.

Hazel sighed and moved closer to Charlene, "Calm down" she whispered placing her right hand on Charlene's shoulder.

Charlene flinched at the sudden touch, her eyes flashing red.

"Charlene stop yourself" Hazel screamed but one stare from Charlene sent her flying to the wall, hurting her arms.

Charlene's eyes widened in horror. "I'm sorry Hazel!" She muttered with guilt written all over her face.

"It's okay" Hazel mouthed wincing softly.

Charlene rushed out of the room in tears, unable to stand the sight of Hazel in pains. She kept running until she found herself in the garden.

The beautiful scent of fresh flowers filled her nostrils, as the garden seemed to grant her solace. She sat on a bench, sobbing when she heard a rather familiar voice behind her.

"Dreame college isn't for the weak"

She turned around and he gaze caught him, the same guy with piercing blue eyes from the Park and from the party too.

"I..it's you" she stuttered getting lost in his eyes.

"You don't solve problems by crying over them" he scoffed.

Charlene sensed a hidden depth to his words, sounding like a warning although harsh.

"Confront your problems and take responsibility, no one will do that for you" Blake patted her hair fondly, his face remaining expressionless.

"What is he really? One moment he's nice, the next he's cold" she thought as she watched him walk away.

Apparently, he was in the garden before she showed up.

Layla, observing from afar, seethed with jealousy.

"who is she? Why were they alone together in the garden?" Ava, Layla's friend asked, her voice dripping with malice.

"How would I know?" Layla snapped, her gaze growing distant.

"Aren't you mad?" Ava asked surprised.

"Even if I am, what does it change?" Layla shrugged.

"It makes a big difference Layla. You've liked Blake since the day he arrived here and now you're just going to let some new girl take him away?" Ava spat.

"Ava I don't know" she pouted.

"Of course you don't" Ava scoffed "think about this...you're not going to hurt her, you're just going to let her know that Blake is yours. It's not a big deal"

Layla sighed uncertainty lingering in her eyes.

"Come on" Ava persuaded "if you don't do this, I'm afraid she'll take him away from you...she's even his Hazel's roommate"

"Fine" Layla replied reluctantly "as long as we're not going to hurt her"

"Now that's the Layla I know" Ava grinned "go mark your territory"

Aiden's adjusted his collar, his mind drifting to Charlene's bright smile.

"She's adorable " he murmured lost in thought.

Midas raised an eyebrow "down to earth Aiden! You've been beaming for over five minutes"

Aiden snapped back to reality with a chuckle "did you have to interrupt?"

"It's definitely what I think right" Midas wriggled his eyebrows "girls are all over you, I wonder how it is with Blake"

Aiden's countenance changed immediately "was that really necessary?"

"I was just saying, you know li.."

"Let's go" Aiden snapped interrupting him.

As they exited the room, Midas caught up "I'm sorry"

Getting no response, he pouted "so who's the girl?"

Aiden's grin returned "you'll find out soon enough."

**

"Where have you been? I was worried" Hazel asked concern etched on her face the moment Charlene walked back into the room.

Charlene's gaze dropped, guilt washing over her. "I hurt you.." She paused and sighed "you shouldn't even be bothered about me"

Hazel's expression softened "don't be silly Charl. You're still learning" she said "it's a phase that almost every new Amazon undergoes. Pick your stuff we're already behind schedule for lectures"

Blake rejoined Louis in their Dorm room, his expression blank.

"You're back" Louis muttered putting on a leather jacket "took you ages"

Blake stared shortly at him and scoffed.

"You've still not told me why you're always going there?" Louis said curiosity clear in his eyes.

"Let's go to class" Blake said totally ignoring his question.

"You're still not ready to talk about it,.. Anyways whenever you are, I'll be willing go listen" Louis replied and patted Blake's back, although that earned him a glare and together they walked out of their room.

"Look who it is...if it isn't the pretty boy" Aiden scoffed loud enough, the moment he sighted Blake and Louis approaching.

Louis stared at Blake expecting a reaction, but as usual he simply snubbed Aiden and continued walking.

"Of course he wouldn't respond...child with no love" Aiden said again determined to spite him.

Blake stopped on his track for a while and was about to give a reply but Louis' soft nudge made him move ahead totally ignoring Aiden.

It's always been this way, both boys can't stand the sight of each other, a couple of times they've exchanged words and thrown Dreame college into chaos, but Blake already promised Master Arnold, to stay of of trouble this session.

Melanie's thoughts drifted as she walked to the class. Her dad, her stepmum, new surroundings and everything seemed to be weighing her down.

Lost in thoughts, she bumped into Charlene.

"Ouch" Charlene winced.

"I'm sorry" Melanie apologized.

"It's okay... I wasn't watching where I was going either. Newbie?" Charlene asked.

"Yes" Melanie nodded.

"Let's head to class together then..." Charlene said and turned to Hazel "see ya later"

As they walked to class together, Melanie's arm accidentally brushed Charlene's and instantly, a voice whispered to Melanie.

"Its her... We've found her, you know what to do right?"..

Melanie's smile froze, and she stopped walking, her eyes lingering on Charlene...
