"I know who it is!" one of the Beast Pirates exclaimed in realization. "It's Master Yamato and Lord Alastor!"
"What?! Why is Lord Alastor fighting Boss Kaido?"
"You idiot!" another snapped, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "Don't you know? According to the latest gossip Master Queen let slip, Lord Alastor and Master Yamato have… you know… that kind of relationship. A man and a woman relationship, hehe…"
The revelation sent shockwaves through the ranks of the Beast Pirates.
Master Yamato—strong, fearless, and more manly than most of them—was conquered by Lord Alastor?
Tsk, Lord Alastor must truly be a man among men.
But wait… didn't that make Lord Alastor Kaido's son-in-law?
The realization dawned on them all at once: the epic battle on the rooftop wasn't just any fight. It was a full-blown family conflict.
More precisely, it was domestic violence.
The pirates collectively decided that such matters were far above their pay grade. "Let's not get involved in… whatever this is," one muttered nervously.
On the rooftop, the so-called "domestic dispute" reached catastrophic proportions. Kaido, in his full dragon form, unleashed his might with no restraint. His overwhelming Conqueror's Haki blanketed the battlefield, crushing the very air under its pressure.
But Alastor and Yamato were ready.
The two merged their Conqueror's Haki, a testament to the grueling training they had undergone together. The combined force of their aura stood toe-to-toe with Kaido's, splitting the skies and shaking the island beneath them.
Kaido sneered. "Impressive… for brats!"
Pulling back his Haki, he infused all its force into his massive kanabo. Golden energy swirled along the weapon as he roared:
"Kongō: Kanemitsu!"
The sheer force of the attack compressed the surrounding air, creating a golden torrent that surged toward Alastor and Yamato.
Yamato stepped forward, her muscles taut, as she prepared her own counterattack.
"Kongō: Namiji!"
Though a weaker imitation of Kaido's move, it absorbed a large portion of the incoming force. The remaining energy surged forward, threatening to crush everything in its path.
Alastor didn't flinch. He braced himself and endured the blast head-on, relying on his formidable body to withstand the attack.
[Host severely injured. Defense +100.]
Kaido's massive dragon form loomed over Alastor, his laughter booming like thunder.
"You're tougher than I thought, boy! But so what?" Kaido snarled.
In an instant, Kaido was upon him, swinging his Haki-coated kanabo like a machine gun.
"Jundari: Ryūsei-gun!"
It was another of Kaido's infamous Four Kings Techniques, each swing landing with devastating force.
Alastor's blood sprayed into the air as his bones cracked and his chest caved in. Lightning armor sparked around him as he instinctively defended against the onslaught, but the damage was catastrophic.
For any ordinary human—or even most of the Yonko's contemporaries—this level of injury would have been fatal.
But Alastor wasn't ordinary. His breathing was labored, but the light in his eyes grew sharper, more determined.
Kaido noticed, his expression twisting in a mixture of confusion and grudging admiration.
"This brat…" Kaido thought, continuing his brutal strikes. "He's learning from me in the middle of a fight. Does he actually see me as a teacher?"
Though annoyed, Kaido couldn't help but smirk.
Just as Kaido's kanabo descended once more, a sharp gust of wind roared in from his flank.
"Shirohebi: Kaken!"
Yamato moved with incredible speed, her icy kanabo aimed directly at Kaido's midsection. She struck with enough force to momentarily halt his barrage, sending frost and shockwaves across the battlefield.
"You think I'd just stand by and watch?!" Yamato shouted, her voice carrying over the storm-like chaos.
Kaido stumbled back slightly, momentarily distracted by Yamato's strike.
Alastor seized the moment, grinning through the pain. His thunderous aura flared, and he launched himself forward with renewed vigor.
Kaido roared in frustration, his full strength on display as he battled against the combined might of his daughter and son-in-law. Each clash sent shockwaves through the island, their ideologies and wills colliding with earth-shattering force.
"Come on, Teacher Kaido," Alastor taunted with a bloodied smirk. "Is that all you've got? Teach me more!"
Yamato grinned fiercely beside him. "You'll regret giving us this much experience, Kaido!"
Kaido snarled, the corners of his mouth twitching in what might have been a smile.
"You brats…" he muttered. "Fine. I'll show you what happens when you defy me!"
The battle raged on, each strike building toward a climax that would determine the fate of Wano—and the legacy of the Beasts Pirates.
Yamato's every move was a display of mastery, seamlessly intertwining Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror's Haki) with Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki). Occasionally, her strikes were laced with an intense, bone-chilling frost that could make even Kaido tread carefully.
Kaido was forced to withdraw his kanabo, Hassaikai, and brace for defense.
Clang! A sharp, deafening clash rang through the battlefield.
Kaido was pushed back by the sheer force of Yamato's blow, his massive form skidding across the ground. Seizing the momentum, Yamato unleashed her next attack. Taking the form of the wolf deity, Ōoguchi no Makami, she opened her maw, summoning ice crystals that rapidly condensed into her next move.
"Namuji Hyōga!"
A torrent of icicles, sharp and deadly, surged toward Kaido with relentless force.
Kaido roared, his eyes blazing with fury.
"Don't underestimate me, Yamato!"
He countered by inhaling deeply before releasing his own devastating attack.
"Bolo Breath!"
A torrent of magma-like flames clashed head-on with Yamato's freezing icicles. The impact of fire and ice was a cataclysmic collision, akin to the legendary duel between Admiral Akainu and Admiral Aokiji.
Zilazila!
Flames evaporated ice, while ice smothered fire. The resulting water vapor engulfed the battlefield, obscuring everyone's vision.
Elsewhere, amidst the chaos, Alastor, severely injured yet unyielding, retreated to replenish himself. His lightning-enhanced speed allowed him to escape unseen, heading toward a stockpile of food he had hidden within Onigashima.
Despite the searing pain from Kaido's Raimei Hakke (Thunder Bagua) and Gundari Ryūsei-gun, Alastor's consciousness remained sharp. He clenched his fists in frustration, sensing that while he had brushed against the edges of mastering Conqueror's Haki infusion, he hadn't truly achieved it.
"It's all luck," he muttered, comparing himself to Monkey D. Luffy, the so-called "Son of Destiny."
Still, Alastor was undeterred.
"If one blow isn't enough, I'll take two. If two aren't enough, I'll take ten, twenty... however many it takes!"
Bolstered by his determination, Alastor devoured his hidden food supplies with reckless abandon, restoring his stamina to its peak within minutes.
He let out a triumphant roar, his body glowing as he ascended into the sky. Both Kaido and Yamato's thunder-based attacks had charged the storm clouds above Onigashima with electricity, providing a perfect source for Alastor's power.
Drawing upon the storm, Alastor's body began to grow. His muscles expanded, his hair turned stark white, and his form transformed into Thor Mode, a state he had long sought to perfect. His height surged to seven meters, putting him on par with Kaido's towering figure. Purple lightning ribbons danced around him, and the air crackled with energy as his body reached an unprecedented 800 million volts of charge.
Alastor clenched his fists, feeling the immense power coursing through his veins.
"Kaido…" he whispered, a grin forming on his face.
Lightning gathered around his arm, compressing into a dense, spinning disc of energy—a Raijin Wheel, jagged and glowing with destructive potential. Alastor's massive form descended from the storm clouds like a meteor, aiming directly for Kaido.
Kaido's instincts screamed danger, but the attack was too fast to evade.
"Father-in-law," Alastor said mockingly, his voice booming. "Consider this my gift to you. 500 Million Volt Raijin Wheel!"
The lightning wheel struck Kaido with devastating force, breaking through his nigh-impenetrable dragon scales for the first time.
"AAAAARGH!" Kaido bellowed in pain, bloodshot eyes locking onto Alastor as the jagged wheel tore into his shoulder, cutting down to the bone.
Kaido's mind raced. How had this upstart managed to breach his defenses without the advanced techniques of Ryuo?
Realization dawned.
"This brat… He grows stronger every time he's injured," Kaido thought, his shock giving way to rare unease. "This is what he meant by 'no limits'…"
Kaido clutched his bleeding shoulder, the pain searing, yet his expression betrayed a mix of rage and disbelief.
"You brat…" he growled, his voice heavy with both anger and a hint of grudging respect.
