Naruto: I am Uchiha Shirou [391]

"Impossible!"

Black Zetsu, Six Paths Obito, Uchiha Madara, the hidden Sage of Six Paths, and countless ninjas all stared wide-eyed, unable to believe what they were seeing.

A beam of moonlight shone down from the moon onto the Allied Shinobi Forces. Amidst the chaos and confusion, figures began to appear within the light.

"Isn't that Lord Shirou's woman?"

"It's Lord Shirou's woman!"

Under the moonbeam, as the commotion spread, the figure was revealed. The Allied Shinobi Forces were stunned—it was the woman who had always followed Uchiha Shirou from the very beginning.

In the moonlight, her fair skin and long blue-white hair fluttered. Her face was beautiful and delicate, two horns adorned her head, and her fingernails were long.

She wore a white robe with black tomoe patterns, and her pure white eyes calmly gazed at the battlefield. As the sealed power returned to her body under the moonlight, a blood-red Rinne Sharingan slowly opened on her forehead.

"Otsutsuki Kaguya!"

"Mother!"

As everyone saw this figure, the name surfaced in their minds.

Only Black Zetsu, though surprised, looked on with excitement, addressing her as "Mother."

"That's enough, Hikari."

As her power returned, Kaguya Otsutsuki, holy and noble, looked calmly at Hikari, who stood protectively before her.

Though this was Shirou's order, the experiences of this recent time far surpassed her thousand years of loneliness.

The once cold and distant Kaguya raised her hand and gently caressed Hikari's cheek, making Hikari say solemnly:

"It's all for Lord Shirou!"

In the next instant, Kaguya's figure vanished, instantly appearing on the battlefield, making Six Paths Obito's pupils shrink as he became alert.

"Mother!"

Black Zetsu shouted excitedly. The process didn't matter—what was important was that his Mother had finally returned!

Under everyone's gaze, no one could have imagined that the so-called mother of the Sage of Six Paths, the noble and holy originator of chakra, Kaguya Otsutsuki, would stand gently behind Shirou at this moment. The sight shocked everyone.

Upon seeing Kaguya, Shirou smiled, reaching out to gently stroke her silky white hair.

"Kaguya, looks like I'll need your help for this battle."

This genuine trust made Kaguya smile, and her heart—betrayed and lonely for a thousand years—finally filled.

"Mother! What... what's going on!?"

Black Zetsu hurried to Kaguya's side, but the situation left him confused.

Seeing Black Zetsu, Kaguya showed a rare hint of comfort—at least he hadn't betrayed her.

"Shirou, Black Zetsu is a will I created when I was sealed, fusing Yin-Yang Release with the Ten-Tails' power."

At this, Kaguya hesitated, and looked at Shirou, her voice dropping:

"He's… also my son."

During this time, Kaguya had come to understand the present shinobi world, and she worried whether Shirou could accept this unexpected son.

Yet seeing her concern, Shirou just smiled and nodded.

"I understand. This is our shinobi world, too."

Their conversation left Black Zetsu dumbfounded, eyes wide.

Good grief! When did his mother get out? And now… does he have a father, too?

"You!"

Meanwhile, Six Paths Obito watched in utter shock. Hadn't the Sage of Six Paths said Kaguya was sealed inside the moon? How had she become Uchiha Shirou's woman? And now, he'd have to fight two at once!

"Uchiha Shirou! You released the world's disaster—you'll be the greatest criminal in the shinobi world!"

Recalling the Sage's words, Obito shouted angrily, claiming Kaguya would destroy the world.

But Shirou just looked at him with a mocking smile.

"Kaguya, doesn't he look like a mad dog to you?"

At Shirou's teasing, Kaguya nodded slightly. But when her pure white eyes turned to Obito, she frowned, spotting the sun and moon marks on his hands.

"That's Hagoromo and Hamura's power!"

"Mother!"

Black Zetsu quickly explained: "While you were sealed, Hagoromo swallowed Hamura's power, hiding in the shadows of the shinobi world all these years…"

Black Zetsu raged—if not for the Sage, he would have known love after being born.

Thinking of Hagoromo and Hamura, pain flashed in Kaguya's eyes, but she'd come to terms with it by now.

"Hagoromo, Hamura—they were born from the God Tree's power. It's time to reclaim what was separated." (PS: Kaguya's husband is a filler character right, not canon?)

With calm indifference, Kaguya had let go of their betrayal; now, she just needed to reclaim her lost power.

"Hagoromo! Are you not coming out yet?"

Kaguya's holy, dignified voice echoed, shocking everyone. In the distance, the exhausted Madara gasped for breath.

"Madara, let's go! This battle is beyond us now."

"Hashirama!"

At this critical moment, Hashirama risked his life to leap onto the battlefield and rescue the weakened Madara.

In that moment, the two locked eyes, as if transported back to the Warring States Era, and both smiled.

"Madara, it looks like your plan failed. Our era is over—let the younger generation spin the wheel of the shinobi world now."

With the Ten-Tails extracted, Madara was clearly at death's door, but he stubbornly snorted:

"Hashirama! I told you, this time I won."

Now that Shirou had inherited and perfected his will, Madara felt he had already surpassed Hashirama. Besides, Konoha and the world were both Uchiha's now.

Madara's weakness couldn't hide his stubbornness, making Hashirama laugh. In the distance, Tobirama watched jealously—his big brother had gone to Madara yet again!

"This world was once my garden, now it's ruled by my husband. I won't let it be hurt again."

Kaguya's calm voice echoed. The world itself meant little to her—Shirou, the one who could be with her and build a strong clan, was what mattered most.

"It's time to end this battle."

As Kaguya's cold voice rang out, the veins of the Byakugan began to surface around her eyes.

At that moment, feeling her terrifying pressure, Six Paths Obito broke out in a cold sweat.

Uchiha Shirou was already a headache; now there was the terrifying Kaguya Otsutsuki— even with the power of the Sage, he felt no hope of victory.

"Mother!"

At that moment, a voice echoed across time and space, and countless people looked on in shock as a figure emerged from the void.

"Hagoromo! You traitor! Mother and I will never forgive you!"

The person most shocked was not Kaguya, who'd been sealed for a thousand years, but Black Zetsu, who had hidden in the shadows for just as long.

Black Zetsu glared furiously at the newcomer, cursing him, while others were stunned to realize who it was.

Otsutsuki Hagoromo—the Sage of Six Paths himself!

Two horns on his head, brown hair, a white robe, six black tomoe on his chest, a red spiral symbol on his back with a grid of tomoe below, and an old, bearded face—Otsutsuki Hagoromo looked at his mother with a complicated expression.

"It's the Sage of Six Paths!"

"Is this still a shinobi war? It feels like a battle of gods and demons from myth!"

In the Allied Forces, countless ninja stared blankly, their understanding turned upside down. What began as a ninja war had now brought out even the Sage—what else was impossible?

"This isn't even the same dimension—this is a battle between gods!"

With a clang, a ninja sword dropped to the ground. A Konoha ninja clutched his forehead, smiling wryly in disbelief.

"This is beyond anything we can hope to fight."

Even Onoki, the Third Tsuchikage, lost his fighting spirit, gazing helplessly at the battlefield—this was a battle for the gods to decide.

"Old man, are you okay!?"

The Fourth Tsuchikage, Kurotsuchi, asked with concern. Seeing his granddaughter's worried look, Onoki secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Thank goodness! At least he'd sided with the right person early.

Given the situation, it was the old fighting the young, and the outcome shouldn't affect them.

"The Sage of Six Paths!"

With the Sage's arrival, the battlefield reached the highest level of the shinobi world.

A battle of gods!

As Otsutsuki Hagoromo revealed himself from the shadows—

"Mother!"

As Hagoromo gazed complicatedly at his mother, Black Zetsu angrily pointed and shouted:

"You traitor!"

"Sage of Six Paths!" Obito, too, breathed a sigh of relief, quickly moving to Hagoromo's side.

Now, it was two-on-two—all at the Six Paths level. They still had hope.

Seeing Hagoromo, Kaguya's eyes flashed with pain, then turned resolute.

"Hagoromo, I didn't expect you to have grown so old."

Old!

That word made Hagoromo's face stiffen. At that moment, everyone noticed something—the passage of time had not affected Kaguya's appearance, but it had aged the Sage.

Seeing Hagoromo's aged face, Black Zetsu grinned vindictively.

"Mother, you don't know what this traitor did. After sealing Mother, Hagoromo and Hamura found they hadn't inherited her immortality.

So, this traitor, seeking eternal life, swallowed Hamura as he was dying. He thought fusing the other half of the God Tree's power would grant him eternity, but he failed!"

Meanwhile, Shirou smiled, seeing the Sage in person, and couldn't help but mock:

"So, you chose self-sealing just to cling to life."

Exposed, Hagoromo's face darkened, but instead of lashing out, he looked at his mother with a grave expression.

"Mother, you held back from Hamura and me, you never gave us eternal life. Your existence will only bring endless disaster to the world!"

At that moment, the Sage was still firm in his belief that immortality would only bring never-ending calamity to the world.

Seeing Hagoromo's resolute gaze, Kaguya's heart turned calm. She spoke coolly:

"Once, I thought the life born from the God Tree's power would protect the world from invaders. I was wrong about everything."

Feeling her fear, a gentle hand squeezed hers—Shirou offered a reassuring smile.

"Kaguya, it looks like the world will need us to protect it in the future."

Seeing Shirou's smile, Kaguya nodded resolutely.

On the other side, Hagoromo frowned deeply at their closeness, then said solemnly:

"Uchiha Shirou, your ambition is the same as my mother's. You'll bring disaster to the world—let the former Kage of the shinobi world stop you!"

With a shout, Hagoromo broke the void, and figures began to step out of the emptiness.

"That's the First Raikage! Second Raikage… First Mizukage…"

The figures were the former Kage and heroes of the shinobi world. There were cries of surprise from within the Allied Forces—they recognized them instantly.

It was obvious: Hagoromo had summoned the dead to break Shirou's dream of unifying the world.

Having experienced Kaguya's rule, Hagoromo knew that despair and wouldn't allow anyone to rule the world again.

The shinobi world should be shared by all, and developed by all!

"Husband, leave this to us!"

The leader of the Allied Forces, Tsunade, strode to the front, shouting toward Shirou.

She declared that this battle was theirs.

Tsunade's declaration was forceful and inspiring:

"Everyone! The Shinobi world has suffered chaos for a thousand years. We've all walked through war and bloodshed. The dream of peace—will our descendants live in peace or repeat our mistakes in endless cycles?

The future of the world is in our hands!"

With Tsunade's commanding speech, Mikoto, Kushina, and many others echoed her shout.

"Haha, I can't join a war of gods, but I refuse to let my son keep fighting!" a middle-aged ninja and father shouted.

Only those who'd experienced war understood its cruelty. He could endure it himself, but not for his children.

"Lord Shirou, I will help you!"

"This is youth!"

"Sasuke!"

"Naruto!"

"Shirou-sensei!"

As voices rang out one by one, the will of the shinobi world became clear.

The world had suffered war for too long. Now that there was hope of peace through unification, even if they didn't know for sure what the future would hold, they were willing to fight for their descendants' sake.

"Kakashi, let's have another competition!"

Guy laughed, and Kakashi nodded with determination.

"Haha, White Fang, do you see this? This time, we all fight for peace! For our future, let's fight again!"

Seeing Sakumo Hatake among the summoned dead, Might Duy, who hadn't died in this world, smiled and gave a thumbs-up.

Across the field, summoned White Fang smiled, though his body was not his own.

"Everyone, get ready."

"This time, we fight alongside Lord Shirou!"

"Haha, to end this damn war!"

The Allied Forces were full of ninja who had suffered greatly and craved peace—a better future for their children.

Witnessing the scene, Shirou smiled.

"Looks like we have nothing to worry about. We just need to deal with those two."

Shirou smiled, and Kaguya nodded firmly.

"To protect your world, my husband, and to end this thousand-year mistake—let's finish it here!"

Suddenly, the scenery shifted. The Sage shouted: "Obito, be careful! Our fight is next!"

Outside, the ninja only saw the four vanish.

"It's space-time ninjutsu!"

"Lord Shirou changed the battlefield to protect us!"

"Everyone, charge!"

The Allied Forces erupted with unprecedented fighting spirit.
