Chapter 13: Time-Skip

A/N: I feel that I have stretched this arc a little too much. And I don't know much about construction and all, so I will be taking short-cut and time-skipping. Don't mind me. Hehehehehe.

It's been 12 years since Karna installed waterwheel in Champanagari village. And after 6 months of that he constructed the first ever watermill in this world and he was put in Royal Engineer Corps. After that his life has been constant travel from one village to another.

During the celebration of installing Waterwheel, Maa Ganga appeared before the villagers. There she gave a name that she promised to Radheya in front of the whole village. And the name she gave was what he was given much later in the original universe, 'Karna'

Flashback:

"Haa, looks like this time the wheel won't go dancing on its own, huh Radheya?"

"Hahahahaha"

"Hurrah. We have a waterwheel now. We won't be troubled of going all the way to river to get water."

"Huzzah."

"Hurrah"

"Let's raise our village little genius up high"

Radheya was suddenly caught by the group of people who threw him up, caught him when he was falling and again threw him up. This process was repeated many times. (All in fun way, not traumatizing way.)

"Hey guys, let's have a feast and celebration in the honor of having the waterwheel inaugurated."

"Yeah."

As everyone was celebrating the inauguration of the Waterwheel, there was suddenly a shift in the surrounding. The environment looked like it had more life, the birds started signing and the grass became more green.

In the middle of the river Ganga, the water started rising while forming a body. Seeing this every villagers became silent and suddenly all of the bowed to the ground.

"Jai Maa Ganga."

"Jai Maa Ganga."

"Jai Maa Ganga."

"Jai Maa Ganga."

The villagers started to chant the as Maa Ganga form stabilized and she walked towards the Waterwheel. He touches the wheel and watches as it functions. Then she walked towards Radheya who too was bowing.

"Rise son of Radha. You have done what you said you would. You have impressed me."

"Thank you, Maa Ganga. I have only managed to it with the help of your blessing."

"You are as humble as you were when I first visited you, son of Radha. Keep your humility as it is and you will not fall to the sin of pride."

"With your blessing Devi Maa, I will always strive to be humble."

"You speak very well. Now, I believe it is the time to bestow the name upon you. The Kundal you have is divine and it really suits you, so I give you the name Karna. From this day forward, you shall be known as Radheya Karna in the world."

'So, being named Karna was fate, huh.'

(Maa Ganga is giving Radheya a name.)

(Our village is blessed.)

"Thank you, Maa Ganga"

"You are welcome, son of Radha. Now, I believe there was a celebration, you need prepare for. So, I will be leaving now."

After saying that the body of Maa Ganga dissolved into water, it was formed from. And after sometime, the bowing people rise and look at each other. Then they cheer for newly named Karna for being blessed by Maa Ganga.

In past 12 years, Radheya or as he is widely called, Karna and his group were sent to 15 different villages that could be called major settlements in this era. Between the jobs they would have couple of months for vacation and they would be assigned to another village. They also had trained other people so they were able to cover a lot of villages within Hastinapur.

In these past 12 years, Radheya has not only constructed Waterwheel and Watermill in various villages but also developed his martial abilities. Using his A.I. Jarvis, Radheya has learned a lot of martial arts from the modern world. Due to Karna's innate ability and advantage of the perk 'Quick Learner', he was able to learn all of the modern martial arts.

The construction process takes almost 6 months in each village and it gives Karna enough time to adjust. He wakes very early in the morning and does the practice. It took just 4 years to learn every kind of martial arts of the modern world. In remaining 6 years, Radheya tried to recreate many of the fictional martial arts that he read in manga, manhwa, anime and movies.

At first, it is very hard for him to choose the fictional martial arts but with the help of Jarvis, he was able to find some theories that could be working theory behind the martial arts like six-styles from one piece, Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist and Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist from one punch man, Turtle Style from Dragon Ball and strong fist of Rock Lee and Gentle Fist of Neji from Naruto.

For the first year even the one with clear cut instructions like six styles too was hard to learn at first since they were fictional and their learning theory was not too good. But that's when his last perk 'Divine Blessing' came in the hand.

Although, it took a lot for him to figure out the perk and to use it. But once he did, it became easier for him to learn even the fictional one. Although, some of these martial art uses some kind of energy in original fiction like Ki in Dragon Ball and Chakra in Naruto, with the help of his perks, Shaurya was able to make it happen.

Even though, Ki attacks were heavily used in later series like it was just supermarket sale (I tried Vegeta reference when he see trunks using SSJ, but I don't think it worked) since kids used it too, but when it was introduced turtle style martial art was something purely physical and learnable.

As for the martial arts from Naruto, Strong fist of rock lee was not chakra based and can be learned from proper training while the Gentle fist of Neji needed some modification. Instead of attacking chakra points, now it attacks pressure points like in those Chinese martial arts movies from some his childhood. Though, it is his weakest martial art he knows.

Though, the most important thing that happen during this time was not that he traveled or he learned a lot of martial arts, both real and fictional, but rather that he learned to use his perk 'Divine Blessing'. At first, he had thought that divine blessing means that divine being are likely to bless him since he was blessed by both his father 'Surya the Sun God' with divine Kavach, Kundal and minor heal buff when present in sun light And 'Maa Ganga, the goddess of Liberation' with protection from telepathy and major heal buff when present in water bodies.

 As it turns out Divine blessing meant he could give divine blessing though not to any living being. Meaning he can bless a weapon, a fictional martial arts and make it a reality etc. That's all he knows for now. And it has been an absolute boon for him in learning martial arts.

One day, he was working in blacksmith workshop to make him some hidden weights to help him train with like Goku and Rock Lee. It was one of his perks that when he asked to use the workshop privately, the only explanation, he needed to give was, 'I need it to make something. I don't know if it will work or not but I want to try it privately.'

And it worked, they gave him the workshop. It was during that time that he found out, 'Divine Blessing' can be used to bless other things. When he was making weights, he had been wondering how good it would be to have magical training weights that can change its weight according to the wish of users. And viola the weights were blessed.

When the weights were blessed, Radheya felt as if his energy was drained. Though not much, it just felt like he was swimming for 4 hours non-stop. Though, for someone like him, who had been swimming since he was 4, it didn't cause much trouble. For the project, he just said it failed.

With the help of these new weights, Karna's training had reached new height. Since he was a demi-god, his power was already high but training with the weights for 6 years had pushed him to new heights. In present day, Karna could move as fast as a war-horse even though he was wearing more than 15 tons weight in his body.

Also, another major thing happened this past couple years and that is his marriage. Although, Shaurya did not like the child marriage, he had come to accept it. Travelling through many villages and seeing their customs had made him come to accept it.

Last time, they had been to Hastinapur, they got to know that Waterwheel and Watermill had been constructed within the every major villages within Hastinapur. So, their employment provided by Hastinapur palace had been completed. Right now, a noble had contracted them to construct Waterwheel and Watermill in a village outside of Hastinapur whose villagers had migrated in recent years from another place due to some problems.

As it turns out, one of the main and trusted servant of the noble had a relative in the said village and had managed to get the noble's ear. The noble in turn had managed to use his connection in the court to get their team to work for him and construct the wheel and mill in that village.

Right now, their team was going towards the said village and it was making Shaurya a little bit nervous. After all, the village they were going was not normal but extra-special. The name of the village where they are going is 'Vrindavan.'
