Chapter 15: Meeting Shri-Krishna

"So, you want my opinion on your food."

"Well, it looked good and I think I will like it even if it is not Maakhan. Well, Maakhan is the best. There is no food that can compare to Maakhan so it is not fair to your food but it looked good enough."

"Lord…"

"If it was Laddu, then it might have been comparable to my Maakhan but it is just some other sweets, there is no way it can compare to it. Your sweets Rasgulla might be good but it is not as good as Maakhan my mother makes."

"Lord…"

"There is no food that can be compared to Maakhan my mother Yasodha Maa makes. Even the Amrit of gods cannot compare to my mother's Maakhan. So you shouldn't feel bad since there is no way your food can compare to hers."

"Lord Krishna. You came before me." Karna said while joining his hands in front of Krishna while sitting in his knees.

"So, you saying I shouldn't come before you." Shri-Krishna

"No, I didn't say that my lord." Karna

"So, then are you saying that I should inform you before coming?" Shri-Krishna

"No, my lord, I would not dare even think that. Forgive me if I have erred, I didn't mean to be disrespectful, my lord." Karna

"Hehehe… Of course you didn't. I was just kidding." Shri-Krishna

"My Lord. Please don't do such jokes with me. I won't be able to handle it. Please take care of this mortal's well-being as well, my lord." Karna

"Hahaha You have blessing from both Lord Surya and Devi Ganga, what can happen to you." Shri-Krishna

"My Lord, you know everything and it seems nothing is hidden from you." Karna

"Well you know about me huh. And you are acting like I am a god." Shri-Krishna

"Of course, my lord. I do know the truth about you. I come from the future from another universe. Due to some blessing I was given the boon to be reincarnated as Karna. Since I come from the future of another universe, I do know about you in my universe.

You are the reincarnation of Lord Vishnu who came in this Earth to kill all of the demons who get reincarnated as Kings in Dwaparyug and decrease the weight of Earth that has increased due to these demons.

So, knowing these things I can only act like you are a god, my lord." Karna

"I maybe a god but I have no wish to be treated like a god. I didn't just reincarnate to decrease the weight of Earth but also to enjoy the freedom of childhood and to enjoy it with the rishi-muni who were blessed in their previous life and have reincarnated in this village in this life." Shri-Krishna

"My Lord I know this but it is hard for me to treat you like a normal human child is impossible. I can only treat you like the god you are." Karna

"Hmm. That would be troublesome. Well I can make you treat me like a normal human child with my powers but I will do that a bit later. First of all, I feel like there is something you want to ask me, ask it." Shri-Krishna

"My Lord Krishna, You are Murari and Trikaldarsi. You know the question I have in my heart. Please don't make me ask it." Karna

"But you will have ask that. I just know that you have a question in your heart but I don't know what it is." Shri-Krishna

"What? My Lord, what do you mean? You are one of the most powerful god in the multiverse. You can see all of the time, past-present-future at once. How can it be that you can't read the question in my heart?" Karna

"Because it is protected by the blessing of Devi Ganga or did you forget it? She blessed your mid to be forever be protected from every being. And since she blessed you, I can't just go into blessed your mid to be forever be protected from every being. And since she blessed you, I can't just go into your mind and read it even though I have a pretty good idea what it is." Shri-Krishna

"Oh… I did forgot about that. Hmm, now my question, my lord is what should I do? How should I move forward in this world? And what kind of effect will me being here create in the future?" Karna

"Hahaha… You may have an intelligent being as your servant but you are certainly not wise. You should not care so much about the future that you are not able to concentrate on your present. With your gifts, you could have done so much more but due to your own habits of worrying about future you didn't even accomplish half of it.

You could have been a master archer, swordsman and master of warfare just by using your gifts, you could have also created many tools that could have helped others but you didn't.

As a great master once said, 'Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is Mystery but Today is a Gift, that is why it is called Present'. So, focus stop worrying about time long gone and time that is yet to come, just focus on the time at hand and it will all be okay." Shri-Krishna

"I will, my lord Shri-Krishna." Karna

"Now, I will make you stop treating me like a god. Even if I can't access your mind and make you forget my truth, I can certainly make you feel that nothing is important and have you treat me like a normal human child like my parents Nanda Baba and Radha Maa do." Shri-Krishna

"Okay my Lord." Karna

Lord Krishna then presses his hand against Karna's temple and a small light appears at the point of contact. After a moment the light faded and Karna opened his eyes.

"Oh Kanha, here you are. You know how worried I was when I didn't saw you in your bed? Your mother is going to be angry with you. Our new neighbor has gifted us with few sweets he made. Come and let's go eat otherwise your Dau will eat all of it and you will have none of it. It looks so tasty, you know." Nanda baba's voice called out as he is seen coming towards the tree platform.

"Alright, Karna bhaiya we will meet later. Then I will show you around the village, Okay." Shri-Krishna

"Okay, little Krishna. Go your home now, we will meet later." Karna

"We graze our cows here." Little Krishna said as he pointed towards a field along with his friends. "And we play games there."

"Oh. And do you guys play near Yamuna River as well?"

"No, we don't. Elders say it is dangerous and they will be angry if we play. But only if they knew that we went there. Hehehe."

"Hahaha you guys definitely are the most mischievous kids I have met. I won't tell to anyone, now take me to Yamuna river. I will inspect the land there."

"Okay."

Karna spent almost every day in the week interacting with the kids and roaming the village and its surroundings. Though he had inspected the land for first few days, afterwards he just roamed the village while listening to the music Shri-Krishna played with his flute.

The religious texts hadn't lied. Shri-Krishna could play the flute like none other. Even at a young age of 6, he could play the flute so beautifully that even the gods would have stopped to listen to his music. The surrounding itself looks full of nature, more green, more birds flying around and cows too graze peacefully when they hear this music. It truly was divine.

Even though, he had not much of an interest in music, he managed to bribe Shri-Krishna with Butter and Rasgulla to teach him music. When you have the greatest master of a subject and can learn from the master then you learn from them even if you have no interest in the said subject, after all no skill or knowledge is useless. Especially if it is related to music in a world where the only source of music is someone with good voice and nothing else.

Karna spent his week in Vrindavan doing nothing more than roaming the village. He swam in the Yamuna River, walked up the Gobardhan Parvat and walked all around the village. One more thing that he has been doing is that he made a music box that plays melody from 21st century. And as soon as he made it, it became an instant success though he only showed it to his group and was not introduced to others.

When he showed it to the villagers, they weren't much excited about it since they got to hear much more beautiful music every day, they did say that they like the tool. Karna decided he would set up a workshop for the music tool since it look like it would have quite a market.

Karna was spending his time on Vrindavan very happily. He would be sometime playing with the kids and other times he would be working with his group. And some time he would be doing some other antics. His time in Vrindavan was being well spent.

But he should have realized something. Shri-Krishna was reincarnated on Earth to kill demons and eliminate the demon clan. Also, the King Kansa will be sending demon assassins to kill his so called killer, the 8th son of his sister Devaki. Meaning there will be a lot of demons coming to kill Krishna for one reason or another. Some because King Kansa hired them as mercenary and others for revenge for the demons Shri-Krishna already killed.

And at the moment, there were few demons coming to Vrindavan to get revenge for their friend Aghasur, whom Krishna killed by expanding his divine form within the demon's gigantic python body when after entering his cave like mouth with his friends. And these demons unlike before were coming in group unlike other demons who came solo or in pairs.
