Aurora wasn't sure why she took the deal from the devil, but she had her reasons.
An offer from the deity was a promising one, one that would make her life better, the deity had a warning to her.
Taking herself back to her past, she could recall every passing moment with the devil.
After the mysterious figure cast a spell on her for eternal death, at the very point she collapsed and fell to the cold floor, he thought she was already dead, meanwhile, she agreed with the superior of the underworld to come back to life, she planned to take revenge on her killer after her re-incarnation.
" your soul shall be locked in a casket for 500 years before you get re-incarnated in the future, when you awaken from your death, you shall lose all memories of yours, but your enemy and killer will be closer to you than expected" The voice of the deity very husky and loud in that realm, Aurora's soul stood still and listened to his words. "Secondly, don't make the grievous mistake your mother made," the deity said, she interrupted by saying, "Which was?", "You don't dare to question the almighty deity, that yours to figure out. "Lastly, when you are re-incarnated into the immortal, keep your powers a secret until the due time when needed, your powers are beyond the immortals to handle, you are more than your mother".
The last word from the deity kept on ringing in her mind as she was back to her normal self, she couldn't put in place the words of the deity,
Does that mean I still possess more powers than this?
Many thoughts ran through her head, her mind so occupied by strange thoughts, that she could not help but call Bryson on the phone to tell him.
"Hi, Bryson," she said, after some seconds, she added, Bryston I want to talk to you about something strange that has been going on but can't put a finger on it", "okay" he replied on the other end, "let's meet at the same garden under the oak tree at sunset" she specified, before ending the call, she let the heavy breath that suddenly stood in her throat, she's a bit relief.
Sunset began to take its show in the sky, the warm clouds seemed to be overhead already, Bryson stood directly under the tree waiting for Aurora, who invited him there, after some minutes, she showed up behind him and walked right to his front, her eyes were filled with numerous curiosities, Bryson's heart skipped a bear, his heart held fear and nervousness, waiting for her next word, he felt he was exposed already!
"Bryson Lee, who are you truly, you aren't the same Bryson I got married to over 500 years ago, you've changed" she inquired her eyes still furious, hungry for answers from everybody. He stepped back a little. Not ready to say anything to her, he dropped his face down, "what you saying Aurora, what do you mean?" he questioned.
"Well, Bryson, there are a lot of things I've heard and they seem true, firstly it was Caspian who warned me to stay off from you, then Scarlet too followed and said the same, and also you've been acting up lately, Bryson tell me the truth, who are you" she questioned with despair filled in her heart. "Aurora all these are fake allegations against me, and you know that!" he exclaimed, "know nothing Bryson, Bryson you fucking left me, all alone during the time I needed you." Aurora it was a mistake, and our past" he explained, her eyes, tears threatening to fall out from the corner of her eye, "I'm sorry for that" he murmured slowly,
"Bryson can you explain this tattoo on your wrist", she said holding his wrist firmly. Just as he was about to speak, a foggy cloud gathered around them, it was dark and shady, it wasn't Arachne this time but someone else, her enemy,
Suddenly a figure emerged from the foggy shadows, scarlet walked majestically toward them her hair was soaked in red, and her eyes demanded Aurora's powers, she knew Aurora wasn't an ordinary immortal, she was beyond the immortal, just like the deity said to Aurora her.
"Well, well, well," Scarlet sneered, her eyes fixed on Aurora. "Look what we have here. The little witch thinks she's so powerful, doesn't she?"
Bryson stepped forward, his eyes flashing with anger. "Back off, Scarlet," he growled. "This doesn't concern you."
Scarlet laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "Oh, but it does concern me," she said. "You see, I've made a deal with Mrs. Jersen. She's promised me power, real power if I take care of you two."
Aurora's eyes widened in shock. "You're working with Mrs. Jersen?" she asked, her voice incredulous.
Scarlet nodded, a sly smile spreading across her face. "I am," she said. "And I'm going to make sure you two pay for what you've done."
With a sudden burst of speed, Scarlet launched herself at Aurora and Bryson, her fists flying. The two of them were caught off guard, but they quickly regained their composure and began to fight back. The three of them clashed in a flurry of punches and kicks, their movements lightning-fast as they battled for supremacy. Aurora's magic swirled around her, but Scarlet was relentless, using every trick in the book to try and take her down. Bryson fought valiantly, but Scarlet was surprisingly too strong. She landed a series of brutal blows, sending Bryson crashing to the ground.
Aurora's eyes widened in horror as she saw Bryson lying there, motionless. She knew she had to act fast or risk losing him forever.
With a fierce cry, Aurora launched herself at Scarlet, her magic blazing with fury. The two of them clashed in a final, desperate bid for victory.
But just as it seemed like Aurora was gaining the upper hand, Scarlet landed a lucky blow, sending Aurora crashing to the ground. As Aurora struggled to get to her feet, she saw Scarlet standing over her, a triumphant smile on her face.
"You should have stayed out of this, Aurora," Scarlet sneered. "Now, you're going to pay the price." And with that, Scarlet raised her foot, ready to deliver the final blow.
Aurora closed her eyes, bracing herself for the impact. But just as Scarlet's foot was about to come crashing down, a loud voice boomed from afar.
"Scarlet, stop!" the voice commanded.
Aurora's eyes snapped open to see Elijah standing, his eyes blazing with fury.
Scarlet hesitated, her foot hovering in mid-air. For a moment, it seemed like she was going to defy Elijah's orders. But then, with a snarl, she lowered her foot and turned to face Elijah.
"What business do you have here, Elijah?" Scarlet spat.
"I'm here to put a stop to your little game, Scarlet," Elijah replied, his voice dripping with disdain. "You're not going to hurt Aurora or Bryson. Not while I'm around."
Scarlet sneered, but Elijah could see the faintest glimmer of fear in her eyes. She knew that Elijah was not someone to be underestimated.
With a sudden movement, Scarlet turned and fled, disappearing into her shady clouds Elijah watched her go, his eyes narrowed in suspicion.
"We need to get out of here," Elijah said, turning to Aurora. "Now."
Aurora nodded, still shaken from her encounter with Scarlet. Elijah helped her to her feet, and together with Bryson, they made their way out of the garden leaving the chaos and danger behind.
