Chapter 11: Tell her!!

He lets out a sigh and knows he can't tell her any of this. It still didn't happen yet. So what should he say? How could he prove that he knows? He should just tell her head on that the wide building isn't safe. Okay, so he should say exactly, 'Don't go to the wide building, it's dangerous.' Simple enough. But wait, will she know what building he is referring to? He calls it the wide building because of how it looks and-... . His thoughts are interrupted by her walking away. After a few steps she looked back at him and said, "Follow." A flash back to the first time she told him this went right before his eyes. He knows that he is running out of time and shouldn't overthink this, so he needs to act fast. It's a wide building, so she might know what he is talking about as it's her destination. But, doesn't he still have a lot of time before they reach the wide building as the road ahead is long? So he should think this through a bit more? Flashes of memories go back into his mind, flashes of that place, and the fear it imbues controls his mind, and makes him want them to walk in the opposite direction of that place as fast as humanly possible. As she starts walking again, Saif starts to run behind her, and the axe in his hand starts to flail in his hand again. He looks down at it, then back up at the person as she walks away. He quickly just grabs the axe by the helt that is near the center by pure instinct, which felt way natural than it should with a one hand grip, and way more comfortable than anyway else he has held it by before, as now he has control over the two areas, but still, holding it with two hands was better.

He shakes his head and understands that he shouldn't focus on this right now at all! He runs to the person, careful with each step he takes as to not step on too many stones, especially outside the ruin. He runs and grabs her shoulder and spins her around to face him. Her eyes don't widen this time, and she controlled her turning, kind of like she expected him to do that, and a face that proves it slightly as she has a slight look as if she expected him to do something novices. She did hear him running behind her after all, plus, on this day... No, loop feels like a better description for some reason, he wasn't that friendly in this one. Anyway, he has been staring at her panting due to him trying to catch his breath long enough. He then speaks out the first words that come to mind, "duont goouu! The uwiedah behltink ess dangurusss wethh the rroubbed peoppl! (Don't go! The wide building is dangerous with the robed people!)"

As he hears himself talk, he feels like he has done a good enough job at talking again. A bit too quick, but still understandable. He observes her reaction after his words and finds her making a reaction that was slightly more significant. More surprised than any he has seen her do before. Her reaction then changes to a more serious one, one that he has also never seen before at this intensity. She pushed away his hand that was on her shoulder, which hurt him as he used his hurt hand to spin her, which hurt as well when he spun her, but not as much as the slap, which made him let out a deep grunt. She took a few steps back away from him and put down her backpack on the ground with a slight thud, her eyes never leaving him for a second as she circles around him slowly. He doesn't understand. Did he do something wrong? He is sorry if he did, he didn't mean to scare her. He is sorry if he did. He also steps a few steps back, but out of apology to her as his eyes don't leave the ground, as for some reason, he can't make himself look her in the eyes, and his face is filled with that notion of apology. He was about to raise his hands up instinctively to show he isn't hostile, but then felt the weight of his axe in his hand. He looks down at it for a moment and realises that she might feel in danger with him hol-. ... . He then felt numb in the body and regained awareness on the ground. What happened? Why is he on the ground? He tries to look around and finds the person looking down on him, her hands are holding the hoist that is put around the shoulders of a backpack, with a backpack that feels bigger and thicker than any bag a person as small as her should carry.

Now that he remembers

Bag off, too big

As he sees this sight, he sees blood on one of her hands. Blood? Is that from me? He then slowly put his hand on the place he felt the contact on, it felt the most numb. It was on the left side of his face, the side he was laying on while the rest of his body laid flat on the floor with his stomach on the ground. He puts his fingers around the area after slightly lifting his head as much as he could, and feels something, he pulls his hand away and sees blood on his fingers that wasn't there before. Then was the blood was from him?! Why did she do this?! Tears started falling from his eyes as the pain was getting to be too much as his head and face and mouth really hurt. She bends down to his level and this snapped him out of his crying session and he flinched. Why did she do this? She then took the axe away from him and then put him on her shoulder as she started to walk. Of course! The axe! It made her afraid of him, that's why she attacked him! He didn't see it though, so wasn't it her? Doesn't matter, his blood is on her, and he needs to show her he didn't mean any harm to her. But he is still feeling a lot of pain. She did this to him. Why? He says this to himself while being sad, and afraid of her. No! She did it because she was afraid too! He should have just dropped the axe way beforehand. He should have never grabbed it in the first place!

He then moves slightly to fight her grip off and gets off her shoulder as she had her arm wrapped around his waist. This action surprised her as he then falls and crashes on the ground. When he falls, He falls on his shoulder, which took most of the fall, and now aches him painful, and for some reason also started to bleed (It was the shoulder he got shot in). He grunted hard while contracting his body, trying his best to fight the pain. She was about to pick him up again, but then he extended his hand towards the axe that she had hoisted on her waist. She realised this and pulled away the axe out of his reach, and picked him up with her other hand back on her shoulder with a kind of disappointed look on her face. He immediately then slips again before she had a good grip on him, but by making himself fall from her back side head first that he was hanging out from, he fell head first into the ground and tilted his neck, and it sent electricity and an aching extreme pain pulsed throughout his entire body. He holds the back of his neck as this was a kind of pain that he never felt before, and he cried due to how extreme it was, but tries his best to fight through the excruciating pain to then reach again for the axe. Seeing what he did, and how he fell like this just to get his axe, she raised her head, and through the axe next to him with a small bitter frown with her emotionless face, she waited for him to use it how he saw fit. She has a face that says she is used to this, people always going for violence with her, and she thinks this situation is no different, but that flies over Saif's head and he thinks she has given it to him so that he can prove his innocence. He crawled quickly to his axe and grabbed it with his hand in pure desperation. He slowly tries to get up, but leaves the axe on the ground to use both of his hands to get up because of how dizzy he feels, and how much his body isn't responding to him. While getting up, he's glad that she gave him this chance, and is glad his intention of trying to prove his innocence was obvious, but now that he thinks about it, she might have taken it as him trying to hurt her again. He is glad she didn't, but tells himself that next time he should be careful with his actions to not send the wrong message across again like he did this time.

She just stands there, waiting for him to do something as he finally got up and then he bent down and picked up his axe. She is standing there, with her guard up, but doesn't seem to be threatened at all by him and is in a more relaxed stance. Suddenly, he just throws the axe to his side, and the sound of his axe hitting the ground echoed in the silence between them. She was standing there, stunned for a moment, not understanding what was happening. Saif then raises his hands up in a manner to show how harmless he is as he subconsciously slowly bent his back to lower himself more and is backing away from her. He then speaks, "aaii aammm ssasurrrrryyiiii aaiii sskarrred yuuuuu. (I am sorry I scared you)." His sudden words with a gentle apologetic voice take her off guard. She looked like she didn't expect any of this at all, but Saif took her face of surprise as an indication that he might have done something wrong. "Aaiii amm ssurreiie! Aaiii amm ssurreiie! (I am sorry! I am sorry!)" He apologised again and again, trying to show that he truly didn't mean to scare her. As she watched what had unfolded in front of her, her face relaxed and became gentle. A melancholy look appeared on her face when she saw this, and her body started to relax and seem less threatened, and her hands just fell to her sides when they were once slightly higher. When he saw this, he smiled as what he did worked and she wasn't afraid of him anymore. He was glad that now things between them can go back to being normal again, and they could get away from the wide building together. When he got a better look at her face, her face looked dark, the same way she looked right before he entered the wide building in that first loop. He then thinks in his head, 'Why is she so sad-...' The person, before Saif could react, lunged at him and punched him on the top of his head, putting his face into the ground, and then got fuzzy. But right before this, the last thought went through his mind right before she hit him was that she looked just like the thing that also hit him in the second loop.
