On this Sunday, Xie Ying'an and Li Qingmo disappeared early in the morning.
Qingran was doing a test paper at home until she was metaphorically soaring high, and after she finished, she took out Xie Ying'an's test paper to compare answers, and aside from different problem-solving approaches, the solutions were the same.
She set the paper aside, planning to have Li Qingmo check it again when he returned, unsure if the answers would change like they did before during exams.
Mathematics has always been Qingran's weakness. For subjects like Chinese and English that required rote memorization, she could manage if she put in the effort. But math required both innate cleverness and continuous effort.
Having not attended classes for three days in a row, even with plenty of thinking, she couldn't figure out the mathematics problems.
The notes Xie Ying'an helped her with were detailed, but even then, she always got stuck at the same point and couldn't make any progress.
