Information Chapter

The Abyss (F-Rank to A-Rank)

The Abyss is an ever-expanding, chaotic void, where the poorest of the land and the most terrifying creatures reside. It is split into various depths, with the lower depths becoming increasingly dangerous.

F-Rank (Outer Abyss)

This is where the lowest of society and weak monsters live. The outer Abyss is filled with small, twisted creatures mutated by the darkness. People here survive by scavenging and trading in what little they find.

E-Rank to D-Rank (Shattered Depths)

As one goes deeper into the Abyss, larger and more dangerous monsters appear. These levels are populated by ruthless bandits, outcast sorcerers, and mercenaries who have no choice but to hunt Abyssal beasts for survival. Resources here are scarce, and even the air is thick with Abyssal energy, slowly corrupting everything it touches.

C-Rank (The Abyssal Frontier)

At this level, the Abyssal energy becomes almost unbearable. Only the strongest of adventurers can venture into this region. The creatures here are more organized, smarter, and far more dangerous, often resembling the titanic beasts of legend. Small, hidden settlements dot the level, but most are ruled by powerful warlords who extort what little wealth exists from those unlucky enough to live here.

B-Rank to A-Rank (Abyssal Chasm)

The true depths of the Abyss, where ancient horrors roam and forgotten cities lie buried beneath miles of corrupted rock. This is where elite adventurers come in search of treasures from lost civilizations, but they often meet their doom. The monsters here rival small gods in power, and entire factions of mercenaries or warriors are needed just to survive. Abyssal creatures here can crush armies, and those who survive are forever changed, physically and mentally.

The Eldergloom Forest

Beneath the Floating Lands lies the vast Eldergloom Forest, a dense, primeval expanse shrouded in perpetual twilight. This forest spans an area larger than many of the Floating Lands combined and stretches across the lower realms beneath the islands. Its canopy is so thick that only scattered beams of light pierce through, casting an eerie glow over the forest floor. The trees here are ancient, towering giants, their roots burrowing deep into the earth, drawing from an ancient power source connected to the Abyss.

The Eldergloom Forest serves as a natural barrier between the Abyss and the Floating Lands. It is rumored that the forest itself is alive, pulsing with a mystical energy that corrupts and enhances anything that enters its bounds. The deeper one ventures into the forest, the more potent this energy becomes, warping creatures and plants alike into monstrous forms. This forest is also a hunting ground for powerful beasts that are considered too dangerous even for the upper ranks.

The Outskirts (E-Rank to D-Rank)

The edges of the Eldergloom Forest are relatively safer but still pose a threat to unprepared adventurers. The trees are slightly smaller here, and the wildlife consists of smaller predators and mutated animals twisted by Abyssal energy.

Notable Creatures

Shadow hounds, venomous serpents, and lesser Abyssal beasts that roam in packs. The flora here includes glowing fungi and poisonous plants.

Environment

The forest floor is covered in thick, thorny underbrush and luminous mushrooms that cast an eerie glow at night. Many travelers get disoriented due to the labyrinthine paths that twist and turn, with illusions distorting reality.

The Gloomgrove (C-Rank)

Deeper within, the forest thickens, and the trees grow larger, some reaching hundreds of feet high with bark as hard as iron. Strange ruins of an ancient civilization dot this area, suggesting that the forest may have once housed powerful beings or even entire kingdoms.

Notable Creatures

Abyssal panthers, grotesque plant monsters, and mutated beasts with thick scales and glowing eyes. The ruins are guarded by animated tree golems that strike down any intruders.

Environment

The air is thick with an ominous fog, and the roots of trees are woven into natural tunnels and caves where rare herbs and Abyssal crystals grow. The presence of ancient ruins attracts adventurers seeking relics, but many disappear in the forest's depths.

The Heart of Eldergloom (B-Rank to A-Rank)

The core of the Eldergloom Forest, where Abyssal and divine energies converge, warping everything into strange, otherworldly forms. The trees here seem alive, with branches and roots moving like tendrils. Some say the trees themselves are sentient, trapping those who enter their territory.

Notable Creatures

Giant Abyssal treants, spectral beasts, and twisted chimera-like creatures that have adapted to the harsh environment. These monsters are strong enough to challenge entire groups of skilled adventurers.

Environment

This area is soaked in mystical energy, which manifests as floating orbs of light and shadow. Vines and roots often form paths that lead to the sacred Abyssal pools, which are rumored to grant visions of the future. Only the bravest and most skilled dare to journey this far, as the forest itself becomes hostile, shifting and warping to mislead intruders.

The Forbidden Grove (S-Rank to SS-Rank)

The innermost part of the forest, where even S-Rank adventurers tread carefully. This is a realm where the physical world and the Abyss collide. The ground pulses with a dark, sentient energy, and the air hums with ancient power. Abyssal portals occasionally open, allowing powerful creatures to roam freely.

Notable Creatures

Abyssal guardians, eldritch monstrosities, and spirit-bound dragons that have made the forest their home. These creatures are incredibly powerful, with abilities beyond mortal comprehension.

Environment

The trees are so tall and dense that they blot out the sky entirely. The bark and leaves glow faintly with an unnatural light, casting a strange, shifting color over everything. Strange, rune-covered stones mark this territory, indicating a forgotten civilization that once wielded vast power. Adventurers claim the forest can "speak" to them here, sometimes guiding or deceiving them based on an unknown will.

The Abyssal Rift (SSS-Rank)

At the very center of the Eldergloom Forest lies the Abyssal Rift, a massive chasm that plunges directly into the Abyss itself. This is a gateway to the purest, most concentrated form of Abyssal energy, where the boundaries of reality begin to blur.

Notable Creatures

Living shadows, primordial Abyssal entities, and beasts infused with the energy of the Abyss itself. These are not merely creatures but embodiments of the Abyss's chaotic nature, challenging even the gods.

Environment

The chasm is surrounded by twisted trees whose roots seem to reach down into the Abyss. A dense fog of dark energy surrounds the Rift, and reality here bends and warps unpredictably. This area serves as a forbidden zone, where only those with an SSS-Rank ability, like Key, can survive for any length of time.

The Floating Lands (C-Rank to S-Rank)

Above the Abyss lie the floating islands, home to various kingdoms, empires, and powerful factions. Each island is typically assigned a ranking based on the strength of its military and the danger of its surrounding environment.

C-Rank (Lower Isles)

These are the smaller islands, typically used for farming, trade, or as homes for poorer inhabitants of Drakara. The creatures here are stronger than those in the Abyss, but they pose little threat to the organized forces of the islands. Adventurers often begin their journey on these islands, honing their skills by hunting basic sky creatures like winged wyverns or sky serpents.

B-Rank (Midlands)

The mid-level islands are larger, wealthier, and more dangerous. They're home to bustling cities, powerful factions, and some of the most prominent guilds in Drakara. Adventurers from all over the world gather here to train and prepare for the dangers of higher levels. The monsters found on these islands are often colossal, with some even posing a threat to whole cities. These beasts require teams of skilled hunters to defeat.

A-Rank (The Sky Realms)

The higher realms are a series of majestic islands where the nobility, legendary warriors, and ancient orders reside. The air is thin, and the land is infused with magic, making these places difficult to reach for all but the strongest of warriors. The creatures here possess powers that rival ancient dragons, and the technology or magic available to the inhabitants is leagues above what is found in the lower levels.

The Divine Heights (S-Rank to SSS-Rank)

Above the floating lands lie the highest levels of Drakara, where the gods themselves dwell in cities of unimaginable splendor. These gods care little for the lower worlds, viewing the inhabitants of Drakara and the Abyss as mere insects. However, their domains are not without danger, for even the gods have their enemies, and adventurers who reach these heights may find themselves caught in battles between divine beings.

S-Rank (The Ascendant Islands)

These islands are ruled by godlike beings who were once mortals. They act as intermediaries between the gods and the mortal world, controlling access to the Divine Heights. Monsters here are no longer natural but are born from the will of the gods themselves. Each creature has unique powers that defy normal comprehension, and only the bravest of warriors dare to challenge them.

SS-Rank (The Celestial Peaks)

These islands float at the very edge of Drakara's atmosphere, where magic is so powerful that it warps reality itself. Time moves differently here, and gravity seems to shift depending on the will of the gods. The beasts here are near-immortal, their power rivaling that of demigods. Few mortals have ever set foot on these islands and lived to tell the tale.

SSS-Rank (The Divine Thrones)

The absolute highest level of Drakara, where the gods themselves reside in their thrones of eternal power. These gods rule over entire realms of their own creation, shaping reality to their whims. Monsters at this level are no longer mere beasts—they are living embodiments of chaos, creation, and destruction. The gods, indifferent to the struggles of mortals, occasionally send their monstrous creations down to test the strength of those who would ascend to their thrones.

Above SSS Rank (The Ascended)

He who created and ended everything.

Abyssal Energy

is a primal, chaotic force that emanates from the Abyss, the lowest and most unstable region of Drakara. It is a raw, limitless power that embodies destruction, transformation, and corruption. While its origins are unknown, Abyssal Energy is believed to predate the creation of Drakara, existing as a force beyond mortal and divine comprehension.
