Restarting the Apocalypse

On the desolate Ashen Soil, everyone believes that deep within a ruin buried under danger and famine lies the path to a new world. All it takes is to find a unique key to unlock the gate, and one can step into this new world. There, the land is abundant, as though flowing with milk and honey. The sunlight is radiant, seeming to wash away the cold and gloom. People no longer face desolation, monsters, infections, mutations, or any of the dangers that plague their current existence. There, children are joyful, adults are content, and everything is perfect. Every antiquarian, relic hunter, and historian on Ashen Soil knows one thing: this is the new world.
