"This one has lovely pictures," she remarked as she held up a book with a watercolor cover showing a friendly dragon and a little girl in a bright garden. "And this one," she said, running her fingers along the soft, worn pages of a book about adventures in faraway lands, "has a story that is both fun and full of lessons."
