Parchments

(Third Person POV)

[Parchments, Stornlands]

A guard was walking along the ramparts of the castle when he noticed several servants scurrying about down on the courtyard.

"Hey!" He called out, "What in the hells are you all doing?"

One of the maids looked up, "Ah, the Young Lord Penrose told us to leave and run towards the hills!" She said, "He said it was urgent!"

The guard frowned, "The hills?" He said, "Why would he do that?"

"We don't know." The maid said

"Ah, that boy is quite the bossy one." The guard said, "What game is he playing now?"

"The game where they do what I say!" The Guard turned to see a young boy, no older than eleven, was walking towards the group of servants, "I am going to play with them for a bit! Give me a bow because I will practice my shooting!"

The Guard frowned, "Young Master, is that safe?" He asked, "What if one of them fights back?"

"I'm not shooting at them, you doofus!" The Young Lord scowled, "While they run, one of them will be throwing wooden plates into the air in the opposite direction and I will shoot the plates!"

"…..alright…." The guard said, "Its just gonna be you lot?"

"Yes, just us," he said, "The rest of you simply remain to your duties."

The young lord walked up to the nearest maid who bent down slightly.

"Everyone is out, as instructed." She whispered, "You're the only child left."

The boy nodded as he was sweating a bit, "Right…." He said, "We should go now….."

"So…." The Guard called out, "Are you going to go now? So I can have the gates open?"

"We're taking the leave now!" The Boy said, "Hurry up now! Get to the hills!"

After the gates opened, the servants rushed outside along with the boy, making their way to the hill which was several hundred meters away.

The patrolling guards of Parchments watched as this happened, merely thinking it was a strange thing the Young Lord was doing. As this happened, dark clouds began to form above the castle in the sky. Thunder began to be heard as lightning started cracking through the clouds.

This was the norm for the Stormlands, hence the name. This was especially more common since it became Ammaria's territory. That is why the guards in the castle were not alarmed at all by the sudden formation of the dark clouds.

The young lord and the group of servants reached the hills as the thunder grew louder, rattling their bones.

"Ah…." The boy said as he panted, "Are we far enough??"

"I believe so…." A servant said, "What else should we do after? What exactly is going to happen?"

"I don't know…." The boy said, "But the messenger of the Priest told us to wait until it was done."

Suddenly, three beams of compressed red lightning shot from the dark stormclouds and right down at the castle. Everyone on the hills watched as the castle was suddenly replaced by a bright red light that was followed by a deafening explosion.

The ground shook violently as the shockwave ripped apart the ground and hit the group, knocking them down to the ground.

Everyone covered their ears as they yelled out in fear, feeling the powerful pressure of the explosion.

As the boy lord looked over to see a massive wall of smoke and flames, a deep feeling of dread crept up on him.

Everyone there knew what had happened.

On that day, Parchments received the Wrath of Drakken.

[King's Landing]

Ezra walked up to Drakken who was sitting down next to Maegelle, "Great One…." He said as he knelt down on one knee, "I humbly request permission to speak in front of the Lady Maegelle."

"Speak." Drakken said seriously

They were in the city, outside a Manse near the Iron Gate where some Trinity worshippers had gathered the night prior. Drakken wanted to get some air without being bothered by Targaryens and Maegelle wished to join them.

It was the night prior that Drakken decided to take the Manse for himself and forced the previous owners to hand over the property. He had declared that from that point on, anytime House Drakkengard would visit the Capital, the Manse would be occupied. In the meantime, it would be a member of the Trinity who would caretake it.

Ezra stood up and cleared his throat, "Obviously I need not tell you that it is done, the situation with Parchments." Ezra said seriously, "But according to reports, it went as planned."

Maegelle stayed quiet, understanding what Ezra meant by this.

Drakken tilted his head, "And the boy?"

"My men are retrieving him as we speak." Ezra said, "He will be taken into the Trinity and will be cared for."

"And his brothers?" Deakken asked

"Should they emerge…." Ezra said, "We would deal with them."

"Good." Drakken leaned back, "I am content with that. We'll return soon to Harrenhal and wait out my child's birth. After that, moves will be made."

"Of course." Ezra said before looking at Maegelle, "My Lady, I cannot express how much joy it brings me to see that you are with child. To bear The Great One's child is a divine honor."

Maegelle smiled, "Thank you for the kind words, Ezra."

"Which brings me to my next topic, which I do not intend to offend you, My Lady." Ezra said

"What is it?" She said with a frown

Ezra looked at Drakken, "Is it true that Viserra will be taken to Harrenhal?" He asked him, "For an undisclosed amount of time?"

Drakken looked at him, "It is." He said, "Is that a problem?"

"Well….not necessarily." Ezra said, "Judging from what the Northern Envoy said last night at the gathering and from what Viserra preached, there are speculations among the followers."

"And what speculations might those be?" Drakken asked

"I do not need to say it, do I?" Ezra said

Maegelle sighed and looked at Drakken, "I told you." She said, "I told you what that would entail."

Drakken scowled, "Oh, give me a fucking break." He said, "Enough of that silly shit."

Ezra cleared his throat, "I've seen a future where it happens." He said, "It is for the best, Great One. There will be no backlash from it."

"I know it."
